Fall Capsule Wardrobe: Week Three Outfits

I’ve been loving how having a simple wardrobe has freed up my mind a bit so I can really take the time to savor my favorite season. Fall is the best.

Fall Capsule Wardrobe: Week Three Outfits

Monday: White Blouse + Barrel Jeans + Ballet Flats

I loved this combination of a more classic white blouse paired with a modern style of jeans like these barrel jeans. I added these woven ballet flats and a suede bag for texture. It was a little chilly so I ended up throwing on this green quilted jacket as well.

Tuesday: Black Tee + Blazer + Wide Leg Jeans + Black Boots

This is one of my fall outfit uniforms I turn to often when I don’t know what to wear. It’s simple but chic, and I instantly feel more put together when I put on a blazer. This blazer is made of wool and will transition nicely into the winter months as well.

Wednesday: Beige Sweater + Barrel Jeans + Red Mary Janes

This was definitely one of the most comfy outfits of the week. If you feel like your outfit is too simple, adding some fun shoes or a cool bag will instantly elevate it. To make the proportions work with this outfit, I did a front tuck with my sweater to define my waist.

Thursday: Striped Sweater + Maxi Skirt + Sneakers

I was a bit hesitant to add this skirt to my capsule wardrobe fearing it wouldn’t be versatile enough, but I’m actually really loving it paired with all my sweaters. I added some socks and sneakers and a black crossbody bag to complete this look.

Friday: Button Down + Trench Coat + Ecru Denim + Brown Boots

I absolutely loved this monochromatic look and felt really chic while wearing it. I really liked the mixture of ecru, beige, and chocolate brown here as well as the added texture from the woven bag and suede boots. One of my favorite looks of the week!

Saturday: Striped Top + Green Jacket + Black Jeans + Sneakers

I wore this look for a day at the soccer fields for my kids’ games. It was comfy yet a little elevated, too. Fun fact: I included this top in the first capsule wardrobe I ever posted here on my blog four years ago. Talk about timeless style!

Sunday: Fitted Sweater + Barn Jacket + Barrel Jeans + Ballet Flats

These barrel jeans are definitely my most worn bottoms of this fall capsule. I like how this pair is a more subtle barrel shape than other styles I’ve seen. For this comfortable Sunday outfit, I wore my fitted sweater underneath this affordable barn jacket and added my woven ballet flats and a suede bag.
