One of the big fall trends for 2024 is leopard print. Although leopard never really went out of style per-say, it’s very popular right now. I’m all for trends that reflect classic styling! Personally, I purchased this leopard print mini skirt to include as one of the ‘trendy’ items in my fall capsule wardrobe. I’m finding it to be very versatile and easy to style; however, I know that a mini skirt may not be everyone’s cup of tea. In this post, I’m showing you how to style leopard print with seven different outfit ideas for different occasions.
If you like leopard print, but aren’t big on wearing it as clothing, I’ve got a few ideas using leopard print accessories like shoes, a belt, and even a leopard handbag. Using accessories is an easy way to stay on trend without being so ‘in your face’ about it. I’ve also got ideas with leopard print jeans, the aforementioned leopard print mini skirt, and a fun leopard print top. There is something for everyone here!
How To Style Leopard Print
For Weekend Errands
Outfit Details: Shirt / Jeans / Shoes / Bag / Hat / Sunglasses / Necklace (STITCHANDSALT for $10 off)
For this casual look, I incorporated a pop of leopard print in these on trend Mary Jane flats. I paired it with brown and black pieces to coordinate with the print of the shoes. Personally, I would wear this button down untucked when styling this look, but you could opt for a full tuck or half tuck if that’s more your speed. A baseball cap and cool sunglasses complete the look.
For A Fall Festival
Outfit Details: Tee / Denim Jacket / Wide Leg Jeans / Boots / Bag (affordable option) / Earrings / Sunglasses
I think leopard print looks so chic when paired with denim. In this look, I’ve paired a denim jacket with wide leg denim jeans and incorporated leopard print through this small crossbody bag. I love it!
For The Office
Outfit Details: Sweater / Pants / Socks / Loafers / Bag / Earrings
For an on trend office look that still looks polished, try a leopard print cardigan sweater like this. You could wear this sweater buttoned or unbuttoned and layered with a blouse or button down. I paired it with some straight leg black pants (I have these in white!), classic penny loafers (with socks cause that’s what we’re doing these days) and a big tote that fits a laptop.
For Working At The Coffee Shop
Outfit Details: Tee / Blazer / Jeans / Boots (size up) / Bag / Belt / Necklace (STITCHANDSALT for $10 off)
If you’re apprehensive about styling leopard print, try a skinny belt like this. It’s an easy and affordable way to upgrade your outfit. I’ve paired it with a black blazer, tee, and straight leg jeans – a classic combination I wear often.
For Date Night
Outfit Details: Top (affordable option) / Jeans / Heels / Bag / Earrings / Lipstick
Leopard print works really nicely for date night, too. This viral designer top (Ganni does leopard print so well!) has cute ties in the front. I’ve also linked a dupe option since it’s a bit pricey. To dress it up a bit, I’ve paired it with some black jeans, slingback heels, and a clutch handbag. Red lipstick optional!
For Girl’s Brunch
Outfit Details: Sweater / Trench / Skirt / Shoes (affordable option) / Bag / Necklace (STITCHANDSALT for $10 off)
For a feminine look that works for multiple occasions where you want to look cute without being too dressed up, I highly recommend this leopard print mini skirt. I love how it looks with the pop of red in these Mary Jane ballet flats. I’ve added a simple boxy crewneck sweater, a trench coat, and a classic black bag.
For The Playground
Outfit Details: Shirt / Coat / Jeans / Sneakers / Bag / Earrings / Sunglasses
For a fun ‘mom look’ try these leopard print jeans. They are surprisingly versatile! I love how they look with a pair of sneakers and button down. I’ve added a wool blend coat (I have this one in multiple colors!) and big tote bag for carrying all the mom things.
