Spring is just around the corner, and the weather is already warming up here in Seattle. On my socials, I saw many of you sharing scenes of ‘false spring’, your faces turned toward the sunshine. It has me in a tizzy of excitement. I even peeked into my warm weather clothes box and, oh, the linens, the shorts, the dresses!
As we prepare for the arrival of spring, I’ve got three spring looks from Everlane to share with you in this post. This might be my favorite set of pieces I’ve ever received from the brand. I already know each and every one of these six items is going to be a staple of my spring wardrobe.
Three Spring Looks From Everlane
Six Items

The Box Cut Tee
These are one of my favorite tees; I’ve been wearing them CONSTANTLY lately, either under my sweaters or layered with jackets and blazers. Quite possibly the most worn item in my closet actually. They are 100% organic cotton, have a slightly cropped and boxy fit, and a crew neck. I do recommend sizing up in these as they run small and shrink a bit in the wash. I actually sized up two sizes to the medium for reference.

The Short Anorak
This is the jacket for spring if you want to up your jacket game. Not only is the quality outstanding, but the fit is something special. This anorak jacket has this cool oversized, cropped shape that really sets it apart from other utility jackets. Some other features to point out – the removable hood, the back vent, the front flap pockets, and the adjustable sleeve cuffs. I got my true size, XS, and it has an oversized fit.

The Boxy Sweater in Everyday Cotton
Stop scrolling! This is your spring sweater right here. This elegant charcoal gray sweater is your spring capsule star. The warm weather friendly cotton and boxy fit is everything I want in a sweater. It has ribbing along the collar, hem, and cuffs, too. As you can see from the outfits below, it can be styled so many ways. Of course, it can be worn as a sweater, but you can also wear it over your shoulders or tie it around your waist for added texture. I got my true size, XS and it has a relaxed fit.

The OG Baggy Jean
A baggy jean for those of us who are new to baggy jeans! To be honest, as a die hard straight leg crop girlie, I didn’t know what to expect when I selected these jeans for this partnership, but, let’s just say, I’ve been converted. These jeans have a high but slightly loose waist with a relaxed fit through the hips and thighs and a wide leg opening. I haven’t quite gotten into the slouchy trend yet so I like that these have a respectable waist line for us more classic girlies. Plus, they are made from a cotton/TENCEL blend so they are SO soft. A note for petites – these are just a couple inches longer than I want them to be so I styled them with heels here, but I plan to take them to the tailor so I can wear them with flats like the model pictured above. I got my true size, 24.

90s Forever Jean
This is a new style of jean from Everlane, and dare I say, they are PERFECT. One of my spring wishlist items was a pair of light wash full length, relaxed fit jeans. If you’ve been following me on Substack, you may have seen that I’ve been experimenting with looser fit jeans. Let’s just say – I can check this wishlist item OFF. These do have a high rise but the relaxed, loose fit makes them much more comfortable than other high waisted jeans I own. They also have a wide leg (but not too wide) and a full length. I got my true size, 24.

The Dream Mini Skirt
If you read my Wardrobe Goals for 2025 post, you may know that this is the year I want to branch out from jeans into more skirts and pants. One thing I know about myself and my body type is that I prefer skirts to be long or short (nothing in between!) This skirt checks all my boxes. It’s short (but not too short!), minimal in style, and high waisted. It’s a knit material with just smidge of stretch that holds it’s shape really nicely (no floppy skirts for this mom of two.) I’m already dreaming up ways to style this for spring. I got my true size, XS.
Look One: The Box Cut Tee + The Short Anorak + The OG Baggy Jean + The Glove Boot

See the fit of this jacket?! I wanted to show it with the tee, but it looks equally good zipped up. It almost gives the impression of a cropped trench coat (and you know how I feel about trench coats!) As I mentioned, I’m going to have these baggy jeans hemmed so I can wear them with flats; I almost never wear heels in the spring and summer. Can you just picture these styled with a minimal sandal? Swoon!
Look Two: The Box Cut Tee + The Boxy Sweater in Everyday Cotton + The Dream Mini Skirt + The Studio Slingback Flat

This second look is one I cooked up by playing around with the styling a bit. Just know that this skirt looks super polished without the sweater tied around the waist as well, but I really love how it looks like this. I would wear this outfit for any day of the week, but I’d probably switch out my shoes for a low profile sneaker if it was a day with my kids. I’d also style this skirt with an oversized button down and ballet flats for the spring.
Look Three: The Box Cut Tee + The Boxy Sweater in Everyday Cotton + The 90s Forever Jean + The Day Fisherman Sandal

This casual look feels so me, and one I plan to wear all the time this spring. It’s simple but chic -let’s break it down a bit. This is really just a simple base of a white tee and jeans, but I’ve added a few key accessories that level it up – a gray sweater worn over the shoulders (white and gray is such a lovely color combo), some very on trend fisherman sandals, and a suede bag for texture. And as I mentioned above, I love the relaxed fit of these jeans. The light wash also pairs well with black which is a big player in my closet.
