My love affair with Sézane began last year and has been going strong ever since. I’m always striving for the effortlessly cool Parisian look, and Sézane does this style so well.
In this post, I’m rounding up my favorite pieces from Sézane for fall and winter. These are all tops and outerwear. I’ve found that their bottoms are not very petite friendly so I don’t own any of those. However, the boots I’m wearing in the photo above are also from Sézane. These are the Axelle Boots, and they are A LOOK.
Sézane can be a little pricey if you are on a budget. I recommend just picking up a couple pieces each season to build your collection. Their collections are so chic and timeless and the quality so exceptional, you’ll be able to wear their pieces for years.
Note that I do receive a credit from Sézane on a regular basis, but this post is not sponsored. I truly love the brand and want to share about them.
Sézane Fall Roundup
Colette Mariniére
The Colette Mariniére is just a classic Sézane top. It’s a shirt, not a tee, meaning it’s thick and really good quality. This top is nice to wear on its own, but you can also layer it under cardigans and blazers. It is classic Parisian and comes in many color options to suit your preferences. It fits true to size and has a relaxed fit.
Sézane Gaspard Cardigan
The Sézane Gaspard is a great starter piece for your Sézane collection. It’s one of Sézane’s most popular pieces and is available in many colorways. One of the special features of this cardigan is that you can wear the buttons in the front or the back. This sweater is a bit long, but I always tuck it in for a more fitted look. It runs large in my opinion; I sized down in mine. I own this in the ecru and camel colors. If you are sensitive to natural fabrics, note that this knit is made with mohair and alpaca and can be a bit itchy. Full review here.
Philoe Blouse
I’m OBSESSED with this blouse. It’s the most gorgeous top I’ve ever worn! I shared a full outfit styling it in this recent post. It’s made of mostly cotton and has the most beautiful embroidery throughout. It has fabric covered buttons on the back neckline and sleeves. Something to be aware of is the cuffs which are quite small. I have to do a bit of yanking to get them over my wrists. Take that into account when determining your best size. This top isn’t lined, but I just wear a nude bra with it. If you’re wanting to be more modest, you could wear a nude cami underneath as well.
Lexi Sweatshirt
You may not see this in my Daily Looks page very often, but I am constantly wearing this sweatshirt for school drop off and my casual (unphotographed) days. It is such good quality, washes well, and is super soft on the inside. I took my true size, and it is pretty fitted. If you want that trendy oversized look, I would recommend sizing up. It looks so cool layered under the Scott Trench Coat.
Léontine Jumper
Next to the Conrad T-Shirt, the Léontine Jumper is probably my most worn Sézane piece. This henley style sweater is 100% organic cotton so it’s not itchy at all, and it has the most beautiful drape. The sleeves are cuffed with a slight balloon sleeve. I love tucking it into jeans or wearing it over the shoulders when it’s warmer out. I have my true size, and it fits very relaxed which I like. Size down for a more fitted look.
Betty Cardigan
The Betty Cardigan is one of my more recently acquired Sézane pieces, and I’m not sure why I waited so long to purchase it. I LOVE it. It is a cropped sweater jacket made of 100% merino wool and is not itchy in the slightest. It has large tortoiseshell buttons down the front and two chest pockets. This jacket has a relaxed fit at true size. I have the ecru color which is my favorite, but it also comes in other neutrals including black, hazelnut, and striped. I like that you can style it buttoned up or open and layered with a t-shirt or tank. Look for a styling session later this week!
The Chlo Shirt
I pulled the Chlo Shirt out of my closet to photograph for this post, and immediately questioned why I don’t wear this blouse more often. It is so so pretty! The fabric is silk and has this beautiful embroidery up the neckline. It has fabric covered buttons in the front and on the sleeves. I took my true size XS. It is another classic Sézane piece that is always available and comes in a ton of color options. Note that the ecru is slightly sheer; I wear a nude bra with it.
The Lucas Jumper
The Lucas Jumper is my favorite Sézane knit. It fits my casual cool style perfectly. I like the buttons in the front and the high collar. It is made of a cotton and wool blend, and although it’s not as itchy as the knits made with primarily wool, it does have a touch of scratchiness to it. I usually layer it over a long sleeved tee for this reason. I have my true size.
The Conrad T-Shirt
The Conrad T-Shirt is my favorite white tee. It has a nice drapey fit to it and is really good quality. I own this in a few sizes in different colorways, but my favorite is this fit which is a size up from my normal size. I wear this tee probably 2 times a week under cardigans and blazers. I also have it in the black and camel colors.
The Will Jacket
The Will Jacket is one of the more casual pieces in Sézane’s collection. It is always in stock, and they release new versions when new collections launch. This ecru wool version is a new fall release. It is a warm cream color and has a corduroy collar. I also own this jacket in the snow blue wash which has limited sizing, but there are so many colors to pick from. I also love the denim blue, khaki, and black colors. I find this jacket to run a bit small. I have my true size, but next time I’ll get the size up.
The Christie Jacket
The Christie Jacket (read: blazer) has been on my wishlist for years, and I finally acquired it this fall. It is seriously the best quality. It is good for petites as it’s not too long which is a problem I often have with other blazers. I did a full review here. I know this blazer is a bit of an investment, but this style is so timeless. This is the terracotta color which is selling out, but it comes in other options like black and camel. For sizing, this blazer runs small so I recommend sizing up.
Scott Trench Coat
The Scott Trench is such a beautiful jacket. It is a classic fitting trench coat that is so chic. The quality is absolutely amazing (seriously!) It has a water resistant material that is good for rainy weather. I recommend taking your larger size or sizing up. See a full review here.
The Max Shirt
The Max Shirt is the perfect oversized button down. It is 100% organic cotton and drapes really nicely. I like wearing it with a few buttons undone at the bottom for an effortlessly chic look. I sized down in this so it wouldn’t fit too long on my petite frame, but you could stay true to size as well.
