When curating a seasonal wardrobe, a big consideration is budget. Personally, I like to have a mix of investment and affordable pieces in my wardrobe. In my opinion, building a wardrobe of pieces you actually wear for multiple seasons is more important than how much you spend on your clothing. In that vein, I have curated a selection of budget-friendly pieces for your fall wardrobe. All of these pieces come from the high street brand, H&M, which carries a great collection of wardrobe essentials at affordable prices. All of these pieces were selected with versatility in mind, meaning you can mix and match them to create tons of outfits thereby getting the most wear out of your clothing.

Budget-Friendly Finds For Your Fall Wardrobe

A graphic sweatshirt is my go-to for weekends and casual days. They are so cozy and can be layered under blazers, trench coats, and jackets for a cute and trendy fall outfit. Try pairing with sneakers and a baseball cap!

One of my fall outfit uniforms is a blazer paired with jeans and boots. I wear this combination at least once a week in the fall and winter months. I love the black and white pattern of this oversized one.

H&M always carries a great selection of outerwear pieces. I have a few that have lasted me years. A trench coat is one of my most worn layers in the fall and spring months. I love the light brown color of this one, but it also comes in black if you prefer.

A pair of wide leg full length jeans looks so chic when paired with heeled boots. I own this pair and the quality is excellent for the price. They are quite long so plan to have these hemmed if you are petite.

A striped sweater is one of my fall and winter wardrobe essentials. I styled one several ways in this Parisian Fall Capsule Wardrobe.

Gray is one of the most underrated colors for fall. I think it looks so chic when paired with blue or ecru denim and maybe a white tee underneath. A sweater like this can also be layered under blazers and jackets in the winter months.

These Chanel look-alikes are so chic and elegant. This style is timeless so you can wear it for years to come.

A big oversized coat is a must have for fall and winter. This one is only 7% wool so it’s probably best for fall or for those of you who live in a milder climate. It also comes in black, white, and light brown.

If you need to dress business casual for work, here is a nice pant option for you. I like that these have a high waist and pleats down the front. Pair these with button downs, sweaters, blouses, or blazers for the office.

If you’re wanting to try the lady jacket trend but don’t want to spend too much money, here is an affordable option. It also comes in white, too. Here’s another one in Navy.

This textured shoulder bag is so pretty and really affordable, too. Wear it for date night or to elevated an everyday outfit.

I often throw on a cozy hoodie like this for school drop off or chilly mornings hanging around the house. I just purchased this one because you know I love chocolate brown everything.

A sweater dress is another capsule wardrobe staple for fall and winter. I think this would look so cute when paired with knee high boots.
