Christmas is only 10 days away?! How did that even happen? It seems like this season is flying by. In this post, I’m sharing some outfit ideas for the upcoming holiday, including ideas for Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, Christmas brunch, and Christmas dinner. I know each family has their own traditions so I wanted to give you some ideas for different times of the day. This year, we are starting our celebrations with Christmas Eve dinner at my in-laws. The next day, we’ll open presents with our kids in the morning, then head over to my parents for an early Christmas dinner. I can’t wait!
As an aside, my cat just decided to post herself on the chair for a few of these photos. She always wants the spotlight. LOL.
What To Wear This Christmas
Christmas Eve Party
Sweater (similar; similar) // Denim (wash is old, similar linked) // Block Heel Pumps // Hair Pin // Clutch (vintage; similar) // Earrings // Necklace
For any Christmas Eve get-togethers, a red sweater paired with jeans is a festive but comfortable outfit to wear while you’re mingling with family and friends. I love this sweater from H&M, and some sizes just got restocked. I’ve also heard it is available in store as well.
Christmas Morning
Henley Top // Joggers
This warm and cozy matching henley and jogger set is what I’ll be wearing come Christmas morning. I bought these a few weeks ago and have been wearing them a ton in the evenings for couch time. Just an FYI, the bottoms are a little thin and require nude underwear if wearing outside of the house.
Christmas Brunch
Sweater // Wide Leg Pants (I sized down) // Boots (old from Able; similar) // Belt (old from Madewell; similar)
A tonal look with trousers, a turtleneck sweater, and boots is a trendy option for your daytime Christmas festivities. This alpaca sweater is a new purchase, and it has the biggest, chicest, most fabulous turtleneck that comes right up to your chin. I LOVE it. I added a belt and some hoop earrings (which you can’t see here) for some accessories.
Christmas Dinner
Sweater // Skirt (I sized down; waist runs big) // Heels // Hair Bow // Earrings // Necklace
This is a little fancy for Christmas dinner, but I think it is so elegant and sophisticated. A slip skirt paired with a sweater, especially a feminine pullover like this one from Sézane, is a beautiful mix of textures. You could, of course, just wear the sweater with denim and boots for a more casual dinner outfit. For a better picture of this hair bow, see here!
