It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m so excited to start celebrating the holidays with family and friends. If you have some holiday events coming up, I’m sharing a bunch of outfit ideas to inspire you. In this post, I’m giving you three casual holiday party outfit ideas. I would wear these to a laid back get-together with friends, a dinner date night, or the more casual office party. All these outfit ideas are fun and festive, but not too fancy. Later this week, I’ll be sharing three more dressy holiday party outfit ideas so stay tuned for that!
Three Casual Holiday Party Outfit Ideas
LOOK ONE: Red Sweater + Faux Leather Pants + Black Flats
Red Sweater (similar, similar) // Faux Leather Pants // Black Flats // Clutch (vintage; similar) // Necklace
My first holiday look is a combination of a festive red sweater and my favorite faux leather pants. I love the way a knit pairs with faux leather – such a contrast in texture. This particular red sweater is so pretty with it’s square neckline and balloon sleeves. It’s also super affordable. I also linked two similar options in case it sells out. For this more casual look, I added my favorite slingback flats, but you could swap for a pair of black pumps for a more dressy look.
LOOK TWO: Sequined Top + Wide Leg Jeans + Pumps
Sequined Top // Wide Leg Jeans (I sized down 2 sizes) // Black Pumps // Clutch (vintage; similar)
No holiday outfit roundup would be complete without a sequined top. I found this little cropped top from Nordstrom Rack. I love the way it pairs with these high waisted wide leg jeans, but you could just wear any straight leg jean you have. This top also comes in black and gold. It runs small; size up one.
LOOK THREE: Silk Cami + Blazer + Slim Cut Denim + Pumps
Silk Cami // Blazer (old from Old Navy; similar) // Denim (I took my smaller size) // Pumps // Clutch (vintage; similar) // Hair Pin // Necklace
This is a classic look made a little more festive with a few extra touches. One of my go-to combos for date night is a silk cami, jeans and a blazer. I like having the option of keeping the blazer on or removing it. To make this look more holiday, I added this cute gold hair clip and a red lip.

Thanks for the great ideas! That sequin top is stunning on you!
Your welcome! Thank so much!
I purchased that red H&M sweater and I absolutely love it!
Also, can I ask what shade of lipstick you are wearing with the glitter top? It’s the perfect berry shade!
Hi Gina!
So glad you love the sweater! I’m wearing the Mac Ruby Woo lipstick and liner in all my holiday looks. It’s my favorite red lipstick.
