I just returned from having the best time in Hawaii with my family. It was the trip I needed after spending most of the beginning of the year sick. Most days, we just hung around at the pool or beach relaxing while the kids played, although we did fit in some snorkeling and a short hike. I’m back feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I shared my packing list last week, and in this post I’m sharing what I wore in Hawaii.
At the last minute, I ended up changing my packing list due to some unforeseen circumstances. I had placed an order for denim shorts from Madewell but the order didn’t go through (I brought these instead), and I also found a stain on my tan linen shorts which I couldn’t get out. Lastly, I ended up switching out my black tube top for a black bodysuit for some more variety. I managed to take a photo of most of my outfits, but some went unpictured.
For daytime, I preferred a simple tank and bottoms with my straw tote bag for packing things for the beach. The separates I packed were easily mixed and matched to create a variety of outfits. For evenings, I always changed into an easy and flowy dress and sometimes added my black cardigan if it was windy.

This top and bottom are both from Z Supply, and I can’t recommend each piece enough. The tank is super flattering and can be worn tucked or untucked, and the bottoms are so comfortable, cool, and petite friendly, too! This was one of my favorite outfits from the trip.

This beautiful dress from Z Supply has pretty little details throughout including a delicate cut-out along the waist and eyelet details throughout. It’s flowy and flattering and perfect for a beach vacation. It fits true to size.

I bought this white linen dress from Dissh as a birthday present to myself (I turned 40 on this trip!) My favorite detail is the straps in the back which make it look cool and modern. I can’t wait to wear this all summer long.

One of my favorite color combinations is black and olive green which is cool and elevated. I love the look of a tight top with loose flowy pants. I tucked my tube top under a bit to expose a little midriff, too.

I ended up wearing this easy tiered maxi dress from Amazon for two dinners. I loved how flowy and comfortable it was after a day spent in the sun. The quality is great for the price, and it has pockets. It fits true to size.

For this look, I wore the same Z Supply tank pictured above and tucked it into my white linen shorts. I’m very into this tank and thinking about purchasing it in the sandstone color as well.

This look is giving chic coastal vibes for sure. This striped tank top from KULE is great quality (I bought it two years ago and have worn it dozens of times.) I think it pairs perfectly with white linen shorts. For this day, I added a lightweight button down for a little extra warmth; it was pretty windy when we were there.

If you saw my Instagram stories, you may know that I forgot to pack both of my swimsuits so I made a quick run into H&M on the second morning to find one. I mixed and matched a top and bottom to make this set, and I actually really loved this last minute find! And it’s not pictured here, but I wore my black button down as a coverup most days. I own this one, but here is a similar option.

I found these green pants when I was packing, and threw them in last minute. They are sold out from Darling, but the Farah Pant from Z Supply is a really similar option. I love the way they look with a fitted bodysuit. I also wore these pants for the plane ride home.
