The holidays are coming up and with everyone being super busy, you’re going to need an easy appetizer you can put together in 10 minutes flat. This fall charcuterie board is perfect for a Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving appetizer or really any fall get-together. Plus, you can find all the items to make this at Trader Joe’s! See below for a grocery list for this Trader Joe’s fall charcuterie board plus some tips for making it.
I love cooking, but when it comes to appetizers, I really like having an easy go-to option that I don’t have to think about. A charcuterie board looks fancy, but all you have to do is open a few packages and arrange things semi-nice looking on a platter or board. It takes no time at all.
Tips For Making A Charcuterie Board

Let’s talk cheese! When it comes to selecting cheese for your charcuterie board, make sure to play to your audience. You don’t want to spend 10 dollars on some fancy moldy cheese only to have it go untouched because nobody at the party likes it. Usually, I play it safe in this category with well loved, flavorful cheeses like brie, gouda, and sharp cheddar.
Always go seasonal with items you’re including on your charcuterie board. For fall, I like to include cold weather fruits like apples, pears, and figs.
As far as meat goes, I prefer grabbing the variety pack of preserved deli meats like this one that includes salami, prosciutto, and capocollo. I saw a spicy charcuterie variety pack as well that looked delicious.
Always include some kind of crackers or baguette on your board. Here I’ve chosen Fig and Olive Crisps which go well with the other flavors on this fall inspired board and also a plain baguette that I’ve sliced. If you do choose to include baguette, I recommend having a spread like this fig butter. One of my favorite combos is baguette, fig butter, a slice of creamy brie and thin slice of pear on top. Amazing! You could also skip this, and just grab a pack of crackers.
I also like to include a sweet treat on my carcuterie board which usually goes over well with the kids at the party. Here, I went with dark chocolate covered pretzels and pumpkin spice batons, but Trader Joe’s has a ton of options for this.
