Sézane Tops For Spring & Summer

I have long coveted that effortlessly chic french girl style. I have spent hours on Pinterest and YouTube attempting to learn how to dress the Parisian way. I adore their classic and understated style, their love of good denim, and their small wardrobes that emphasize classic and high quality pieces that you can wear for years. You know that I’m all about building a functional collection of capsule style pieces, and the French have mastered this art.

Last year, I saw one of my blog friends share about Sézane and was immediately love struck. I quickly made my first purchase and was so impressed with each piece. I was so happy (like ecstatic) when Sézane contacted me about partnering together to feature their pieces. In this post, I’m sharing ten Sézane tops for spring and summer. I feel like Sézane is a brand where you slowly build a collection of their pieces, maybe adding a few each season. Each piece is timeless and will be in your wardrobe for years. I have been so impressed with the quality as well as the thoughtful design. Each piece fits to perfection and the cut is made to flatter your feminine shape.

Below you’ll find ten tops from Sézane that will quickly become favorites in your wardrobe. If I had to start with one, I would say the Gaspard Jumper, Léontine Jumper, or the Colette Mariniére are very popular and three of Sézane’s most classic pieces.

Colette Mariniére

The Colette Mariniére is a beautifully made striped top that is just the epitome of Parisian style. It’s a heavy weight cotton that has 2 little buttons of the left shoulder that give it a special detail. It fits just slightly relaxed for a classic shape and comes in a variety of color options. This is a perfect starter piece for your Sézane collection and can be worn year round. I took my true size XS.

Chlo Shirt

The Chlo Shirt is feminine and sophisticated with fabric covered buttons down the front and on the cuffs and a beautiful embroidered detail on the collar and neckline. The white color is part silk which makes it feel a little fancy, but some of the other colors are made from cotton. It is part of Sézane’s Top 15 and pairs well with denim or trousers. The white version is slightly sheer so you need a nude cami or seamless nude bra to wear underneath. I have my true size XS.

The Léontine Jumper

The Léontine Jumper is one of my favorites and gets worn a ton with my casual lifestyle (lately I’ve been wearing it over the shoulders since it’s gotten warmer.) It’s made of organic cotton and has relaxed fit with slight balloon sleeves. It has this unexpected but beautiful drape that is hard to achieve with sweaters. It comes in a few other color options so you can choose your favorite but I love the ecru and camel combination of this one pictured. I have my true size XS.

The Conrad T-Shirt

Having a collection of high quality t-shirts in various color options is a must for building a functional wardrobe. They can be worn on their own or layered with other pieces. The Conrad T-Shirt has a classic relaxed fit and is made of organic cotton. I despise v-neck t-shirts (they look sloppy to me) but these have a round neckline that looks much more polished. I know $55 seems like a lot to spend on a tee, but when you won’t have to buy another one the next season (and another and another) because it keeps its shape overtime, you’ll end up spending less money in the long run. I have the Camel color in the XS and the black in the XXS and both fit well. Buy the size for the fit you are looking for.

The Gaspard Cardigan

The Gaspard Cardigan is probably the piece you’ve seen the most on social media and blogs. It is the gateway piece to becoming a Sézane addict! It is feminine, chic, and trés sexy. This is classic Parisian style. I adore this cardigan buttoned up and tucked into denim. You can also turn it around and have the mother of pearl buttons in the back (see the photos below.) It is made of mohair, alpaca, and a synthetic fabric called polyamide. I found it to fit slightly large so I sized down to the XXS. It comes in so many color options, too. Thio Blouse

One of the things that Sézane does so well is their blouses. Just look at all the beautiful details on this Thio Blouse pictured here. It has a beautiful eyelet pattern throughout and little ruffle details on the shoulders and collar. I love an interesting back and this one has adorable little ties that just make it special. You really can’t go wrong with any of Sézane’s blouses, but I also like the Cassy Shirt and the Gaya Shirt. I have the size 2 in this top.

The Lexi Sweatshirt

Leave it to Sézane to make a hoodie look chic. The Lexi Sweatshirt has a more classic cut then most hoodies you see today – it’s more slim fitting and less oversized and boxy. I wear hoodies all the time especially under my trench coat and denim jackets. I just love the little detail of the hood sticking out the back. This sweatshirt is made of organic cotton and is really soft on the inside. I have my true size XS.

The Max Shirt

The Max Shirt is an oversized button down that is casual, effortlessly chic, and super versatile (I styled it seven ways in this post!) It is also made of organic cotton. This color is the Casual White (there is also a ‘White’ color, but I’m not entirely sure of the difference) I took my smaller size 0 so it wouldn’t fit too long (I’m 5’3″) and it fits just right.

Caro T-Shirt

The Caro T-Shirt was part of my first Sézane order. It is not available in this color anymore, but I also love the cream color which I’m linking here. This t-shirt also comes in a black and white polka dot as well that is just adorable and classic Parisian. It has the most beautiful wide sweetheart neckline that is really feminine and sexy. You can adjust the shoulders to wear them higher up or down depending on where you like it. This is the most gorgeous t-shirt I own.

Juan T-Shirt

The Juan T-Shirt (it’s a tank, not sure why it’s called a t-shirt) was part of my most recent order. I did not know that you could make a tank that fits this well. The square neckline is absolutely beautiful and really makes this tank special. The fabric is a medium weight cotton plus 3% elastane. It is pretty fitted but not too tight. I am most definitely ordering this tank in the white and black for the summer. I have the XS which is my true size.
