I’m all for the concept of outfit uniforms. We all have busy lives, and some days, we need a shortcut for putting together a look that you know works. Enter the outfit uniform. Having a closet full of good quality basics helps, and Everlane is always my first stop for this. In this post, I’m showing you four of my spring and summer uniforms I often turn to on days I don’t know what to wear. They are a mix of staples (a good quality white button down, simple ribbed tanks, and your go-to jeans) and more trendy pieces (white cotton skirts, track shorts, and ballet flats.)
*These items were gifted from Everlane as part of a recent paid partnership. I’ve been shopping the brand for YEARS with my own money and feel so lucky to be able to work with them regularly.
Four Spring Uniforms I’m Wearing On Repeat
Ribbed Tank + White Cotton Skirt

The Luxe Ribbed Square Neck Tee // High quality tanks form the foundation of my summer wardrobe, and Everlane has some of the best. This one has a slightly more squared-neckline and bra-friendly straps. This is the Heathered Oat color (love it with the white skirt!) but it also comes in a few other great neutrals. I’m wearing my true size, XS.
The Midi Skirt in Ultrasoft Cotton // This is an item that I decided to add to my spring wishlist recently, and I’m glad I did. I’ve been pinning looks featuring a full white skirt all spring! For spring and summer, I’ll be wearing this easy uniform with a tank and sandals, but it would also work paired with tees and linen button downs. The waist runs large; I recommend sizing down.
The Day Fisherman Sandal // These transitional sandals work well for the in between months where the weather is a bit chilly because most of your foot stays covered. I just also really love the look of this fisherman style which make a bit of statement. This pair is also super comfortable with no break in time required. They fit true to size.

Polo Shirt + Jeans

The Polo in Ultrasoft Merino // For days I want to feel a bit more polished, a polo sweater is the answer. Personally, my lifestyle is super casual so I will primarily be styling these with jeans, but if you’re in an office worker, swap for a trouser instead. This one is made of a lightweight sustainably produced Merino wool and is works nicely for transitional. months I would say it fits pretty slim at true size; consider sizing up for a looser fit.
The 90s Forever Jean // I shared about these jeans in my last post with Everlane, and they quickly rose to the top of my jean rotation (with a quick hiatus for their stop at the tailor for hemming.) As far as spring uniforms go, these are included in many of mine. This pair has a relaxed fit and a full length. For a more classic high waisted pair, I also recommend these.
The Day Mary Jane // Mary Jane ballet flats (and ballet flats in general) have definitely become my most worn footwear for spring (by miles; I included 3 pairs in my early spring capsule.) This pair from Everlane is a new favorite. This pair has a slightly elongated square toe and is made of a super soft and buttery leather. They run a tad small, consider sizing up a half size.

Button Down Shirt + Casual Shorts

The Must-Have Oxford Shirt // This shirt has been well loved in my wardrobe for several years. If you’re looking for a basic button down shirt that has a relaxed fit and isn’t too oversized, look no further. This outfit uniform is probably one of my most worn in spring and into summer. The combination of a chic and effortless button down shirt and sporty shorts is my jam.
The Anywhere Barrel Short // These are the shorts version of the very trendy track pant. They are a technical fabric that is moisture wicking so you can actually wear these for hiking or sporting or gardening or whatever activities you have planned this summer, too. We love a versatile wardrobe. These fit true to size.

Linen Shift Dress + Sandals

The Shift Dress in Stretch Linen // Okay, this dress leans a little more summery than spring but if you live in a warmer climate perhaps you can wear this now. A linen shift is the definition of chic, and this one in particular is super high quality. It’s fully lined and has pockets (which we all love but I’m not sure why) and has a nice drape that doesn’t cling to the body. Paired with sandals and a woven bag, it’s a one and done piece that I’ll be wearing on repeat this summer.
