If I had to define my style, I would definitely say it’s casual chic. I am a work-from-home/stay-at-home mom. I need my outfits to be comfortable enough for mom life but I still want to look chic and put together. I wore this outfit this week, and I loved it so much, I was inspired to create a 10 piece casual chic spring capsule wardrobe including the pieces from that outfit. I also created 17 looks using the pieces from this capsule wardrobe that I shared at the bottom of this post. I added the following accessories to complete each look.
Ivory Shoulder Bag
Black Woven Shoulder Bag
Black Tote Bag
Woven Tote Bag
Hoop Earrings
Coin Necklace
Baseball Cap
Tan Frame Sunglasses
Cat Eye Sunglasses
Tortoiseshell Sunglasses

A button down is so chic, and I love this light blue color for spring. It can be worn so many ways – full tuck, front tuck, half tuck, untucked. I like to add some fashion tape along the front and stick it down to open the front a bit and make it look more effortless. I have my true size in this top.

I really like how a sweater tank adds some texture to my warm weather outfits. It can be layered under blazers and jackets and also worn on its own. This one is sage green, but it also comes in several other colors. It is pretty cropped so if you don’t want to show any midriff, it needs to be worn with high waisted bottoms. I sized down, but stay true to size if you’re busty.

Stripes are my favorite print for spring. This tee is from Everlane, and I’ve worn it so many times. I sized up for a looser fit (it shrinks a bit with washing.)

A blazer is perfect for casual chic outfits. You can wear it with jeans or trousers depending on the occasion. I get most of my blazers from H&M since they are pretty good quality for the price. My exact one is from last year, but the one I’m linking is very similar.

If you’ve been around here before, you know I love a trench coat for fall and spring. They can be worn with casual or dressy outfits. I just added this black one to my wardrobe, and it’s really good. I sized down to the XXS.

This is the perfect casual pant option for me. I will say they are meant to fit lower on the hips, but I prefer them to fit more at my waist so I’m going to have them taken in as well as hemmed to be a bit shorter. I purchased the 00 while my normal size at Everlane is a 0.

For a classic pair of straight leg, high waisted denim, I love the Everlane Way High Jean. I cut mine to make them cropped. I always take my smaller size at Everlane, but you may need to take your normal size or size up depending on your body type.

These are the most chic pair of flats. I own this pair from Marc Fisher, but the pair pictured is from Sam Edelman, and they look a bit more comfortable. I like the pointed toe which helps to elongate my legs. A black loafer would also be very chic.

The woven texture of these mules is so good for spring. I also love the bone color which is different and chic. These run a little small, but I have my true size. You can use my code ASHLEY20 for 20% off your first purchase at Nisolo.

A slim white sneaker is a must have spring shoe. I got these Freda Salvador sneakers for my birthday, and they are so chic and feminine with the cut out on the side. They are pretty pricey though. Here is a similar, but more affordable option.
