I so wish a spring trip to Paris was on my calendar this year but unfortunately it’s not (someday, hopefully!) I always look to my favorite Parisian style influencers for inspiration when I’m thinking about my spring wardrobe. To me, Parisian style is chic, classic, and feminine, and I love to try to replicate this style, especially in the springtime. For this post, I’ve created a 10 piece Parisian spring capsule wardrobe along with 10 outfit ideas.
I know Parisian style is very classic, but I do notice from my amateur research that Parisian women do follow some trends like high top Converse and oversized silhouettes. I have incorporated those styles into this capsule wardrobe. Parisian women also focus on quality over quantity so I recommend getting the best quality you can afford depending on your budget.
To complete each outfit, I added a few accessories including hoop earrings, a coin necklace, a white shoulder bag, a black woven shoulder bag, a taupe tote bag, cat eye sunglasses, tortoiseshell sunglasses, and a baseball cap.

A basic white tee is a necessary layering piece that you’ll get a ton of wear out of in the spring and summer. I wear mine under my trench coat and blazers the most, but it also works under cardigans and other light jackets as well as on its own when the weather is warm. My favorite white tees are from Everlane. I like to size up in this style.

In my imagination (it’s been over 15 years since I’ve been) Paris is full of women walking around Paris in a buttoned up cardigan tucked into a great fitting pair of jeans paired with a chic pair of flats. This one pictured is a little sexy with its low cut neckline, but you could always wear a cami underneath. This Gaspard Jumper from Sézane is also another good option that comes in a ton of colors.

A white button down can be worn so many ways. I have been really loving the oversized styles I’ve been seeing all over Insta, too. This one from Madewell looks perfect; I preordered it in black! For a less oversized button down, try this one from Everlane which I own. It’s great if you prefer to tuck your white button down in.

When spring rolls around, I like to wear my light colored blazers, although I will also wear my black one as well. I own this exact blazer from H&M. The fit is spot on. Sometimes H&M blazers run a little long on me, but not this one. It comes in a few other good color options as well.

You knew this was coming! A trench coat is classic Parisian, and I highly recommend having one for your spring and fall wardrobe. I prefer the longer style of trench coat; mine hits right below my calves.

Wide leg denim is THE denim for 2023. I had been searching around for a pair that fits my petite frame and found a couple that I love. This pair pictured is from Everlane. I took my smaller size in the 29.5″ inseam so it would fit like a full length denim. They fit PERFECTLY. If you’re taller, you might find these to be too cropped. I also just purchased these Wide High Jeans from H&M, and they fit really similar except they are a lot longer.

Off White Denim/White Denim
I wear white denim pretty much year round. They are perfect for creating chic tonal looks when paired with other pieces in shades of tan or beige. You could also switch a pair of jeans out for a pair of trousers if your lifestyle calls for more business attire. I like these from Everlane, and this pair from Madewell.

I selected two pairs of shoes, the first being a pair of pointed toe flats. As a petite girl, I prefer pointed or square toe flats as they help to elongate my legs. You could also substitute a ballet flat which are super trendy right now.

I love how cool high top Converse look with trousers and wide leg jeans. You can pair them with more fancy pieces like a blazer or more casual pieces like a tee. They are really so versatile. I own a black pair right now, but I am planning on purchased this beige pair for spring. See more items on my spring wishlist here.
