In this post, I’m showing you two ways to style a romper for spring. The first is a dressed up and classy option and the second is a more casual and cool look.
A romper was on my spring wish list, and I recently added this chambray one from Old Navy to my closet. I love the dark chambray color and flattering apron style cut of the upper bodice. It’s also super soft and drapey in the bottom which will be nice in the summer months. This romper is also pretty affordable, and it can be styled a bunch of ways which makes it a versatile addition to any closet. I find it fits true to size. I styled it two ways in this post, but I’m sure you’ll be seeing it a ton this spring and summer when I share my daily outfits on Instagram. I also included this piece in my Spring Capsule Wardrobe.

Dressed Up and Classy

Danny called this my ‘sexy pediatrician’ look, LOL. Okay, Danny.
I love the contrast of the white blazer with the dark chambray romper. The heeled mules make this outfit a little more dressy, too. I’d wear this option for a day date, brunch, or family get-together in the spring. These mules are from Old Navy and no longer available, but I found a similar option from Target at the same price point. This blazer is also sold out (bummer, it’s so good!), but I did find some other white blazer options. Those are linked!

To dress this romper down for just a regular old day running after two kids, I changed into these white sneakers and added an oversized denim jacket and black square frame sunglasses. Honestly, I feel like these white sneakers go with everything. I wear them constantly, and I can’t recommend them enough.

There are two ways to style your romper for spring. In the summer, I’ll probably just be wearing the romper by itself and changing up my shoes and accessories for variety. A cute pair of sandals and a woven bag or a pair of mules and a knotted headband are both two warm weather options that would be so cute with this romper. I’m looking forward to wearing it more in the the next few months!
