Welcome to the Weekly Edit! In this weekly blog post, I share a life update and my daily outfits, plus links from the week.

Have you ever had those weeks where you are just irritable for no good reason. That was my week. It was touch and go there for awhile, but I’m finally feeling more like myself today. I’m really pumped for this weekend. The forecast looks amazing, and we are going to have a family dinner for Easter at my brother’s house. I think I’m going to bring this strawberry spinach salad and these parker house rolls.

This week, Danny and I started planning this year’s family vacation. We are hoping to take a road trip up north, possibly to Chicago and Lake Michigan with a stop in Madison to see some friends. Danny and I should both be fully vaccinated by that time. It’s so nice having something to plan for and look forward to even though it’s months away.

In case you missed it, I posted three new articles on the blog this week. In this post, I styled a cream sweater six ways. Next, I shared some recipes I’m excited to make this spring. I’m pretty stoked about all the fresh produce coming back in season. And lastly, I made a list of all my Amazon favorites that support my healthy lifestyle.

Links From The Week

I watched Moxie this week which is a comedy available on Netflix that was directed by Amy Poehler and is about a group of high school students fighting back against the treatment of girls at their school. So empowering.

I also finished this book, an historical fiction novel that is based on the true stories of the women that competed in track and field in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. It was fascinating.

We made this Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken recipe this week (it’s included in this recipe post!). It was so yummy; I loved the sweet and savory marinade.

I bought these teeth whitening strips after hearing about them from Aubrey and Amanda. I’ve been using them for the last week or so, and they are working great. My teeth are noticeably whiter, and I have a lot less sensitivity than with the Crest version.

Abercrombie is having a sale with 40% off select styles. This shirt jacket is super similar to the one I own from Old Navy (and is sold out). I’m really tempted by this ruched midi skirt, this mini dress, and this leopard print bodysuit.

After wavering for months about which non-stick skillet to buy, we bit the bullet and bought the Caraway Fry Pan. We were torn between the Always Pan and this one, but ended up going with the Caraway one because it’s oven safe. I’m so excited to make eggs without having half of them stick to the pan!

Another Netflix recommendation – Captain Fantastic with Viggo Mortenson (the Lord of the Rings guy). It’s a movie about a family who lives off the grid. I don’t really even know how to explain it, so just go watch it!

My Marc Fisher woven mules that I got for my birthday are 40% off right now marked down from $130 to $78! They are so chic and excellent quality.

Happy Easter if you celebrate and have a wonderful weekend!
