I hope you had a wonderful Father’s Day. We celebrated our guy with a big breakfast and a hike. This was the most challenging hike we’ve done with the kids, and, although there was a few complaints, they did so well. Apparently, this trail is a setting off point for paragliders and hanggliders. We hiked to the top and watched them fly off the mountain. It was amazing to watch.

This is the last week of school here in Seattle, and we will officially be kicking off summer next week with a camping trip followed by a long overdue trip home to Kansas City to see family. I’m also starting my Entyvio infusions this week which I’m hopeful will ease some of my Crohn’s symptoms. T

STYLE

Here’s a roundup of outfits I wore last week. June gloom is in full swing in the Pacific Northwest, and I’m dreaming of warm sunny days ahead. I’ve linked these looks below, and you can find all my Daily Looks here.

OUTFIT ONE // LINEN SHIRT + SKORT
OUTFIT TWO // SWEATER TANK + BAGGY JEANS
OUTFIT THREE // JUMPSUIT + SANDALS
OUTFIT FOUR // GRAPHIC TEE + BROWN JEANS
OUTFIT FIVE // DENIM SHIRT + WHITE JEANS
OUTFIT SIX // CREAM TANK + BARREL JEANS

ENTERTAINMENT

The Seattle Public Library system has been down due to a recent hack so I can’t put books on hold right now, but this weekend, I went to our nearest location and just plucked a few off the shelves. I started The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling which is a cute romcom read with a witchy theme. It’s the second in The Hex Ex series which I read last year.

We also started the final four episodes of the newest season of Bridgerton this weekend. It’s not my favorite season (I liked the first season and the spinoff Queen Charlotte the best) but it’s still highly entertaining. Next up – House of Dragon.

FOOD

I’m still cooking my way through my new cookbook, Healthy In A Hurry by Danielle Walker. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re gluten-free or paleo. I also made a batch of her chocolate chip cookies, and they were delicious.

NOTEWORTHY NEWS

A Practical Magic sequel is in the works!

Sézane just released their June collection, and it’s SOOO good. I ordered this blouse and this dress.

I love the cross back on this affordable midi dress from Target.

Friends episodes that made me think differently about parenting.

How to save money on groceries.

Joe Alwyn on his breakup with Taylor Swift.

Do less. It’s good for you.

I just ordered another pair of these sandals in the Cappuccino color.
