Easy breezy tops, linen everything, loose bottoms, simple tanks, and flowy dresses are the name of the game for summer 2024. In this post, I’m rounding up the items on my summer wishlist. As always, I’m sticking to styles that are chic yet mom-friendly. I’m going for a mostly neutral summer palette with a few prints and colors mixed in for fun. A few of these items are a bit splurgy (this is a wishlist after all!) but I’ve linked a similar affordable option for you if needed.
Summer Wishlist 2024

1 / Loose & Flowy Linen Button Downs
I’ve been wearing button downs more than ever lately, especially loose, oversized styles that feel elevated but breezy. These also double as swimsuit coverups in the summer.

2 / Cream Sling Bag
Sling bags are definitely my bag style of choice most days in the summer, especially when I’m heading out for an activity with my kids like the park or the zoo. They are so practical and keep your hands free for wrangling kiddos. Affordable option

The one area of my summer wardrobe that is definitely lacking is shorts. This year, I’m shopping for flowy nondenim options like these brown tailored linen shorts from Reformation. Affordable option

4 / High Neck Tanks
I own a few of these tanks from Sézane, and while I love and recommend them, I’d like to add a few tanks with a higher neckline just for a different look. These are pricey, but I’d get a ton of wear out of them. Affordable option

5 / Cropped Vest Top
I’ve been seeing these vests worn as tank tops all over my feed these days, and I’m into it! It’s cool and a bit masculine and edgy.

For those summer days when you want to feel a bit more put together, a pair of loose fitting trousers are a nice option. I’ve had these pants on my wishlist for a long time. They come in petite and regular sizes (reviews say the regular is quite long.) Affordable option

Sometimes even having to tuck in your shirt in the summer can feel too fussy. A cropped style like this would be so easy, breezy and pair nicely with longer, looser style bottoms. Affordable option

If you’ve been here long, you know that olive green is one of my favorite colors to wear (it matches my eyes!) I love love this olive green slip dress. You could dress it up or down depending on the occasion, and it looks super comfortable and wearable, too. Affordable option

9 / Round Sunnies
I love the look of round sunglasses in the summer. The shape is cool and casual and so versatile, too. I own another pair of sunglasses from Quince, and they’ve held up so well even with daily wear.

10 / White Breezy Shorts
I saw these shorts on an Instagram friend and loved the loose, easy fit, perfect for hot days. I also recently bought these bone colored shorts to try out.

11 / Black Linen Jumpsuit
I had a black jumpsuit on my spring wishlist but never purchased it. I just spotted this linen version, and I just might have to snag it. Affordable option

12 / Breezy Pants
I’ve seen these pants on a few style influencers, and I just couldn’t love them more. They have a breezy west coast style and look so comfortable. To splurge or not to splurge?

13 / Red Tops
Red feels very summery to me, and I like wearing it this time of year. This linen top has an adorable tie in the back, too.

14 / Printed Skirt
Prints are usually a no-go for me, but I actually love this cactus print skirt from Parallel 51. I also own the Aria Knit Tank Dress and the Izzy Contrast Tank top from the same brand that are so well made with a cool design (coming soon to Instagram!). ASHROHR15 will get you 15% off.
