New Fall Finds From ABLE

In this post, I’m sharing my new fall finds from ABLE. If you’ve seen my fall capsule wardrobe, you may have noticed that I included some items from ABLE, and I’m highlighting those pieces today.

One of my goals for 2021 was to explore more sustainable and ethical brands. I make a lot of purchases from Everlane (it’s probably half my wardrobe!), but I wanted to research other brands as well.

You’ve probably heard of ABLE as they do a lot of marketing in the social media space, but if you don’t know here’s a little more information:

They are a women-owned company that employs 95% women. The company began when they employed and trained 3 women in Ethiopia that had just escaped the commercial sex industry to make and sell scarves. The company has grown and now produces apparel, shoes, bags, and jewelry. They publish their wages and are working towards all their employees earning a living wage. They also strive to make high quality, timeless pieces that will last a long time.

What I Purchased From ABLE

Agnes Ruched Sleeve Tee

I have eyeing this tee for probably a year! I’m such a sucker for a puff sleeve. I also love the ruched sleeve detail which is lovely and feminine. It fits true to size.

Amber Boot

I had been searching for the perfect brown ankle boot to add to my fall wardrobe, and these are them. They are truly stunning in person. These leather boots have a 2.75″ heel height and a longer shaft which is perfect for wearing with those trendy straight leg jeans. I’m obsessed with these boots. They fit true to size and also come in black.

Nashville Graphic Tee

A black graphic tee is perfect for the fall especially for wearing under light layers like my green utility jacket and black blazer. ABLE is headquartered in Nashville if you didn’t know! It fits true to size.

Blake Sneaker

I wear my white sneakers all the time so I was looking for a second sneaker option to have for those days when I’m mostly just running around with the kids. The details are these leather sneakers are so good. Go up a full size in these.

I was so impressed with the quality and fit of the pieces I ordered from ABLE, I will definitely be looking there again to fill some holes in my winter capsule. I’m also planning on adding one of their bags to my Christmas wish list!
