It’s been awhile since I’ve shared some new beauty products that I’ve been loving. I like to go pretty minimal with my summer skincare and beauty routine. I’m all about those easy summer days. These products are particularly useful for summer though (hello sweaty hair and dry feet!)
In this post, you’ll find the holy grail of dry shampoos, a foot peel, a natural bug spray that works well for kids and adults, and some new skincare products that were sent to me from a really cool new affordable brand.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo

This dry shampoo works wonders for sweaty greasy hair days (which is pretty much everyday for me in the summer). The powder soaks up most of the oils from my roots, and it shakes out pretty easily. It’s definitely more expensive than the Batiste Dry Shampoo I was using at $22 for 4 ounces, but I do feel like I need to use less product to get the same results. And it’s available at Target which makes it super convenient for me.
Holler and Glow Purrfect Pedi Foot Peel

Does anybody else’s feet get super dry in the summer time with all the sandal wearing and pool time? I apply a foot lotion and use a pumice stone most days, but my high maintenance feet could still use a little extra self care. I grabbed this foot peel from Target in hopes of getting rid of the dry skin on my heels, and it worked wonders. At first I thought the product didn’t work for me as I didn’t notice any changes within the first five days, but then the dry skin start to slough off and it left my feet smooth and soft.
Badger Anti-Bug Balm Shake and Spray

It’s August and the mosquitos are out in full force in our area. I don’t usually get bit, but my daughter Ellie and my husband Danny are prime targets (must be their blood type or something!) If our kids are outside at all in the evenings, we apply this bug spray. This is really the only natural bug repellent that I’ve used that actually works.
Good Molecules Pineapple Exfoliating Powder and Ultra Hydrating Facial Oil

A few months ago, the team at Good Molecules gifted me some products to try out. I had not heard of this brand until then, but I have to say I’m really impressed. Good Molecules has a whole line of skincare products that are affordable and safe using ingredients that are backed by science. They sent me a few products including this pineapple exfoliating powder that left my skin so smooth and bright, as well as this facial oil blend that moisturizes and softens my dry, maturing skin.
I love that they’re products are super affordable and also available at Ulta. I just ordered this Super Peptide Serum to try out, too.
