Christmas is about one week away, and I wanted to give you a little outfit inspiration for your Christmas gatherings. For this post, I created a look for each occasion around Christmas Day – a Christmas Eve party, Christmas morning, Christmas day brunch, and Christmas dinner.
I don’t own any red (I know – I searched my storage!) Since it’s not a color I normally wear, I didn’t want to purchase anything specific just for one day. With that said, all these outfits were made using neutral pieces from my closet. If you’ve been here for a hot second, you know I’m all about my neutrals. They just work so well for a capsule style wardrobe because they can be mixed and matched to make so many different outfits.
All the pieces included are linked below the picture with a similar option if something is not available.
Christmas Outfit Ideas
Christmas Eve Party

Black Sweater // Wide Leg Crops // Block Heel Pumps // Earrings // Bag (old, similar)
You may want to get a little dressed up for your Christmas Eve party so here is a dressy holiday look. We are hosting family this year, and we usually do a big appetizer spread and drinks. It’s always a festive evening. For this outfit, I like the addition of a statement earring to an all black look. These ones are from a local accessories boutique called EB&Co, but you can also buy them online. This would also make a really classy New Year’s Eve look.
Christmas Morning

Henley (similar) // Sweatpants
Obviously Christmas morning requires a comfy and cozy outfit for gift opening around the tree. These henleys from Aerie are the most comfortable tops ever. You don’t see them often here on the blog, but I do wear them all the time for school drop off and for hanging out in the evenings on the couch.
Christmas Brunch

Sweater // Jeans // Knee High Boots // Bag (use code ASHLEYR20 for 20% off)
Here’s a nice Christmas day outfit for your family gatherings. We usually eat a big breakfast casserole and monkey bread for our brunch (so good!). I like to have an outfit that is put together but still comfortable. This sweater, skinny jeans, and knee high boot combination is a favorite of mine.
Christmas Dinner

Blouse (old from Madewell, similar) // Denim // Boots // Earrings
You can’t go wrong with a feminine blouse, straight jeans, and heeled boots for a slightly dressed up, but still comfortable Christmas dinner look. These jeans are my absolute favorite pair right now. They are extra high waisted and a true straight jean with the perfect dark wash for winter.
