Everlane is my go-to for the basic tees and tanks I need for my capsule wardrobe. Not only are they high quality and sustainably made, but they also have more modern cuts that feel fresh and on trend. Their basics are also pretty affordable with most coming in around $30. In this post, I’m sharing my favorite basic tops from Everlane.
Tee // Denim // Sneakers // Belt Bag // Sunglasses
As far as sizing goes, I find Everlane tees fit true to size. I almost always get the XS unless I’m looking for a more oversized fit.
My Favorite Basic Tops From Everlane
The Air Oversized Crew Tee
This is an updated style for Everlane, and the t-shirt I’m featuring in the photos above. It’s a much more relaxed style with longer sleeves for a more oversized fit. It’s made with 100% cotton and super light and comfortable. I like this one for pairing with biker shorts! The color I’m wearing above is called ‘Acorn.’
The Air Tank
This is the perfect summer tank when it’s too hot to have anything tight against your skin. The Air Tank is light and breezy and fits more loosely, but not really oversized. I bought mine last year, and this exact colorway is no longer available, but the ‘Walnut’ and ‘Iced Coffee’ versions look similar.
The Organic Cotton Cutaway Tank
I own this tank in 3 colors, the black, white, and white and navy striped. It’s more fitted than The Air Tank. It’s also made with 100% organic cotton. This tank has a higher neckline and is cut-in slightly at the shoulders. I like pairing these with more looser fitting shorts for an easy summer look.
The Organic Cotton Box-Cut Tee
These are my favorite tees for everyday. I own it in white, gray, and two other colorways that are no longer available. It has a modern boxy cut with a cropped length, but it’s still long enough to tuck into high waisted bottoms. If you’re buying one tee, I would recommend this one in white. It’s a capsule wardrobe necessity!
The Cropped Square Neck Cami
I just purchased this cami a couple weeks ago. It’s cropped enough that you’ll see a little bit of midriff even with high waisted bottoms which I don’t mind. It’s got really thin spaghetti straps and a square-cut neckline. I like pairing it with looser fitting high waisted bottoms like trousers, wide-leg pants, midi skirts, or straight denim.
Everlane also sells a couple of my favorite pairs of denim which you can see in this post.
