Four Summer Outfits With White Shorts

Today I’m sharing four summer outfits with white shorts. It feels like forever since I’ve shared a style post here. I’m really just enjoying the summer with my kids and not worrying about posting as much on my blog. When school starts next month, I hope to be back to posting regularly here, but until then c’est la vie!

I’ve been drawn towards simple outfits this summer. I can’t stand anything fussy when the weather is hot. These white twill shorts from Everlane have been a summer staple for me. They fit true to size!

These same outfit combinations could be worn with white denim shorts or even white denim jeans or pants when the weather cools down.

LOOK ONE: Striped Button Down + White Shorts + White Sneakers

I love the chic combination of a button down with white sneakers. It feels very Parisian to me. I take this basket with me everywhere this summer – for trips to the pool, picnics, and to the farmer’s market. I got it at the Portland Farmer’s Market years ago.

LOOK TWO: Floral Blouse + White Shorts + Mules

I’ve been wearing this blouse all the time since I purchased it for our family vacation this year. For the price, the quality is great and it drapes really nicely. It’s also very light weight, but not sheer and works really well for summer.

LOOK THREE: Black Tank + White Shorts + Leopard Print Sandals

Black, white, and leopard print are a go-to color combination for me. This black tank is from Madewell last year, but I linked some similar options above. I would especially recommend the Everlane Air Cami which I own in a different color and is so light and breezy.

I just purchased this sweater tank from Abercrombie last week, and I love it. A sweater tank is perfect for elevating a simple tank and shorts look. They just feel a bit more dressy than just a regular old tank (although, obviously I wear those all the time right now, too).
