Shackets have been the cool, hip trend this year (I’m using my millennial words here), and I don’t think the trend is going anywhere soon. In this post, I’m showing you four casual ways to style your shacket for fall.
Shackets…put one on and you instantly feel cool. I know there are some hold outs (I hear ya, every trend isn’t for everybody), but I wanted to profess my love for mine, and maybe convince you to join me on the dark side. As someone who keeps a capsule style wardrobe, I try not to follow all the trends, but I just couldn’t resist this one. It fits my casual, cool, masculine style so well.
I bought my shacket last spring and wore it weekly and now that the weather is finally cooling down, I’ve been working it back in to the rotation. This exact shacket is from Old Navy, but sold out in the spring, but I linked SEVERAL neutral style options below that are available right now.
How To Style A Shacket
LOOK ONE
Shacket (sold out, similar options linked below) // Tee // Joggers // Shearling Mules // Sunglasses
The first look is a comfortable, but cool outfit pairing my shacket with a white tee, white joggers, and shearling mules. I love the tonal look of this outfit (multiple pieces in the same shade) and the super casual, but elevated feel of it. These joggers come in petite sizes which is rare so I highly recommend them for you short girls out there like me.
LOOK TWO
Shacket (sold out, similar options linked below // Black Tank // Denim (similar) // Sneakers (similar, similar) // Beanie
Just throw a beanie on it. That’s my slogan. This simple look looks extra cool with the beanie and clean white sneakers. I’m definitely going to be wearing this outfit in real life soon.
LOOK THREE
Shacket (sold out, similar options linked below) // Hoodie // Leggings // Sneakers
You’ve probably seen this look on me before. My first thought when I decide to wear my shacket that day is to put this cream colored hoodie underneath. It’s like layers of cozy. Paired with black leggings and leather sneakers, this look is a go-to for me.
LOOK FOUR
Shacket (sold out, similar options linked below) // Black Turtleneck // Washed Black Denim (exact pair is sold out, similar in same style) // Chelsea Boots (similar) // Sunglasses
Here is another option for a shacket paired with denim. This mostly black look is a little edgy, but I’m into it. I’m wearing my trusty black turtleneck, washed black denim, and my semi-new Chelsea boots that I’m slowly working in to my wardrobe. They are really growing on me.
I hope this post gave you some ideas for how to style a shacket. Check out this post for two more ways that would work for the fall. See below for some neutral shacket options.
