I know some of you hate discussing the arrival of fall and colder weather in August, but I’m going to do it anyway. I’ve been thinking about my fall wardrobe for about a month now. It’s my favorite season to dress for, and I think the season with the most possibilities for creating cool outfits. In this post, I’m sharing my fall wishlist for 2023. Some items are a bit more trendy while others will just build out my collection of staple pieces. I will share a fall capsule wardrobe and my favorite fall essentials in the coming weeks as well.
Fall Wishlist

one // Adidas Sambas
Consider me influenced. When a trend comes around that fits perfectly with #momlife, you jump in. These Adidas Sambas came back in style over the past couple years, and I’m ready to give them a try. I’ve already been thinking of so many ways to style them. Note that these come in and out of stock regularly so just keep checking back.

two // Mango Long Vest
As someone who loves the more masculine look of blazers, it was only a matter of time before I invested in the vest trend. I prefer the long style over the cropped ones, and this one may (read: is) on it’s way to me.

three // Quince Cashmere Boyfriend Cardigan
I already own this sweater in the Oatmeal color and find myself reaching for it constantly in the cool mornings and evenings. I’ve been wanting to add another color and this chocolate brown looks perfect for fall.

four // Red Beanie
I’ve had a little thing for red this summer and want to work it into my fall wardrobe. Lucky for me, this color is very on trend as well. This red beanie would look super cool paired with a trench coat and sneakers.

five // Shearling Jacket
A shearling jacket is one of those pieces that never goes out of style (the silhouettes may differ year to year, though.) I’ve been itching to add one to my wardrobe for years. It won’t be this exact one ($800 is out of my budget) but I’m going to keep an eye out for one when retailers release more of their cold weather styles.

six // Everlane Glove Boot
I’m really into chocolate brown for fall this year. I think it’s just more classic and elegant than cognac. I like how these sock style boots fit nicely under different styles of denim because of the tighter shaft.

seven // Le Scarf Silk Scarf
I’ve been searching around for the right silk scarf to add to my wardrobe (you know, Hermés style without the Hermés price tag.) I adore these ones from Le Scarf that are pretty affordable and have that minimalist style I love. It would be a cool accessory for my fall wardrobe.

eight // Sézane Scott Trench Coat
I still love my Everlane Trench Coat, but I need one that is water resistant now that we live in Seattle. The quality and attention to detail of Sézane is really exceptional, and I’d have this jacket for decades.

nine // Dôen Jana Top
I invested in my first Dôen top this summer, and it was love at first wear. The feminine touches on this beautiful blouse are so pretty. One of my go-to fall uniforms is a cute blouse and jeans so I know I would wear this a ton.

ten // Sézane Christie Jacket
I’ve been ogling this blazer for an entire year. This camel color is everything. It’s currently out of stock, but I’m hoping it will be restocked when fall finally rolls around.

eleven // Quince Leather Woven Phone Crossbody
I love the texture on this woven crossbody. I think it adds some detail to an otherwise minimal outfit. I’ve worn my black woven rope bag all summer long and will be transitioning to leather bags come fall. I’m definitely scooping this up.

twelve // Mango Oversized Knitted Coat
Mango recently released this year’s version of their very popular sweater coat, and I’ve wanted one for years. When I saw they had this khaki greenish color, I knew it was meant to be. I already ordered this wishlist item!

thirteen // Dissh Reign Knit Midi Dress
This dress! A knit midi dress has been high on my to-buy list all summer. I never did purchase one, but I think this one would be so good for fall. I’m seeing it paired with blazers and my oversized denim jacket, maybe some booties. Ah, so good.

Love your wishlist! For the Quince Cashmere Boyfriend Cardigan, did you size up to get an oversized fit?
