Welcome to the Weekly Edit! In this weekly blog post, I share a life update and my daily outfits, plus links from the week.

Hope you had a good week! We are rounding the corner on spring and looking to summer arriving soon. The kids have three more weeks left of preschool. We do have some summer camps lined up, but for the most part, Ellie and Leo will be staying home with me most of the summer. I’m a little anxious about losing what little alone time I have right now in the mornings while they are at preschool three days a week, but I’m excited for all the things summer will bring, like picnics, pool time, and grilling out.

This week, I took the kids to Wonderscope, a children’s museum here in Kansas City. They opened a new location fairly recently, and I was excited to check it out. It was super nice; a major upgrade from the previous building. We spent over four hours exploring all the different rooms. Their favorites were the water room, the grocery store, and the indoor playground area. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re local to Kansas City.

Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there. We are planning on celebrating with family this weekend – a fancy lunch out with Danny’s family on Saturday and a family dinner at my parents on Sunday. I’m definitely planning on passing off all parenting duties to Danny this weekend, and maybe getting a cappuccino and hitting up Target by myself.

Three new posts went live on the blog this week. I shared my favorite Cinco de Mayo recipes in this post, but who am I kidding, I would eat all these recipes everyday for the rest of my life and never get sick of them. In my style post this week, I rounded up all my favorite daily outfits I’ve worn so far this spring. There are some good ones in there if you’re looking for outfit inspiration. I also posted a little round-up of the best sellers last month.

Links From The Week

The Francophile in me LOVED this post from Wit and Whimsy about how to frenchify your summer.

We tried this recipe for vegan stir fry sesame noodles this week, and it was so good. Her recipes are always a hit.

The J.Crew Sweater Blazer is currently 53% off. This is the lowest I’ve ever seen it. I own in the heather brown color which is no longer available, but I just ordered the stainless steel color which I have been eyeing for months. I recommend sizing down one.

I recently started adding apple cider vinegar to my morning lemon water. Eating Bird Food just shared this article about the health benefits.

This post by Liz about the ways motherhood has changed her really resonated with me, especially the part of about letting go of perfection.

Six mom friendly outfits for playing outside with your kids this summer. My denim shorts are going to see A LOT of action this summer.

Have a lovely Mother’s Day weekend!
