To celebrate my birthday, Danny and I headed out for a date night this weekend. Even though I’m a big fan of capsule wardrobes and prefer not to buy too many pieces that aren’t for everyday wear, I couldn’t resist picking up this beautiful blush top for the occasion. It was my birthday after all! It is GORGEOUS. This whole look would be a lovely spring date night outfit. At the bottom of this post, I’m also linking a few more fun spring date night tops!
Spring Date Night Outfit
I don’t normally wear much color, but I’ve been really craving some for spring after a long dreary winter. This blush color is great for dipping your toes into wearing color without getting too bold. This top has so many beautiful little details like ruching on the bodice and sleeves, smocking on the back (see the link!), a square neck line with little ruffles along the shoulders, and, of course my favorite, puff sleeves. The cropped fit is perfect for tucking into high waisted denim. It also comes in a lovely sage green color, along with cream, pink, and black.

These jeans are a new investment purchase, and I LOVE them. They are the Agolde 90’s Pinch Waist Denim. I have been wanting a pair of Agolde Jeans for years! I’ll do a full review after I’ve worn them more (this was their first time out!) but for this post, I will let you know that I sized down one. They are tight right now, but after checking with a few friends on Instagram, the consensus was to stick with this size because they will stretch out a bit (they are a rigid cotton denim). As a side note, they are pricey, the most I’ve ever spent on a pair of jeans, but the fit is perfection.
For accessories, I’m wearing these super affordable braided heeled sandals from Target which are such a great find. They are also super comfortable as I wore them walking all over The Crossroads for date night.
