A spring break packing list with tops, bottoms, and shoes plus spring break outfit ideas for your trip!
Are you taking a spring break trip this year? If so, use this spring break packing list to pack more efficiently for your trip. I put together several outfit ideas for different occasions on your trip, including daytime, evening, travel, and beachwear.
If you’re packing for a week-long trip, you’ll want to pack pieces that can be worn several ways. For instance, this jumpsuit can be styled as a comfortable travel outfit and also with sandals for a day of sightseeing. I made this packing list with versatility in mind. If you pack right, you should be able to take pieces from the beach to sightseeing to dinner with relative ease. To do this, you’ll want to stick with a mostly neutral color palette using basic warm weather pieces that can be mixed and matched. In addition, I always pack a pair of heels for evening, a pair of sandals for daytime, and sneakers for days when we’ll be walking a ton.
I’ve linked all the pieces under the packing list, including accessories.

Spring Break Outfit Ideas
JUMPSUIT
This jumpsuit is amazing! It’s so comfortable – like wearing pajamas, and the drawstring defines your waist so it’s not too baggy. It’s also slim cut through the legs with cuffed ankles which gives you a more polished look. I styled it three different ways – with sneakers and a backpack for a travel day, with woven heels and leather clutch for dinner, and with a straw bag and sandals for daytime.
STRIPED TEE
Any type of tee is a must have for traveling, but I love this striped one which looks very Parisian. The cut of this tee is quite modern with an oversized and boxy fit. It’s a heavier fabric and drapes really well. This tee works mostly for daytime so I styled it simply with white denim and sneakers, white denim shorts and sandals, and denim shorts and sneakers.
WHITE DRESS
This affordable white dress is really lovely. I love packing a white flowy midi or maxi dress for vacation. It’s definitely got those beachy, tropical vibes but can also be worn other places, too. This dress also has my favorite detail – puff sleeves! The skirt is lined so it isn’t see through, and it has pockets, too. Here I styled it for daytime with braided sandals and a straw bag and for evening with woven heels and a clutch.
WHITE BLOUSE
There is something about vacation that makes me want to wear all white. This puff sleeve blouse has the most beautiful little details, and it’s slightly cream colored which pairs nicely with white and blue denim. Here I styled it with heels for the evening, with white denim shorts and sandals which would work for daytime or evening, and with cut-off denim shorts and sneakers for a casual but elevated daytime look.
GAUZE PULL ON PANTS
These gauze pull on pants from Madewell are great because they can be styled for the beach or for every day wear. They aren’t see though, and they are very comfortable. I styled them for the beach with my favorite one-piece swimsuit and for a daytime or casual evening with a cropped button front cardigan and also a sweater tank.
SWEATER TANK
This sweater tank is perfect for adding texture to your warm weather outfits. The fit is pretty cropped, but I find it hits right at the top of my high waisted bottoms perfectly. Here I styled it for evening with white denim, sandals, and a clutch. You can also pair it with gauzy black pants or white denim and sandals for a daytime look.
