Get ready for tons of spring outfit inspiration, especially if you’re into Parisian style like me! I’ve always loved French style and have been trying to emulate it since I first started my personal style journey (and made my first capsule wardrobe!) over ten years ago. There is an ease and effortlessness to Parisian style along with being incredibly chic. I’ve pulled nine inspiration images from my favorite Parisian street style influencers, and I’ve recreated their looks with shoppable pieces.
My advice when pulling inspo images and trying to recreate them is to use the outfit formula rather than trying to copy the exact look. If you’ve got the basic pieces in your wardrobe, you can recreate all of these looks without having to buy a thing! On the flip side, if you are saving a lot of images with a certain piece that you currently don’t own, maybe it’s time to purchase it.
I also recommend following these very stylish women on Instagram so you can start saving your own images and recreating them. I’m ALWAYS doing this. Whenever I’m walking into my closet with no idea what to wear, I reference my saved images on Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration. It’s a really helpful way to put outfits together.
Parisian Street Style Spring Outfits
Blue Button Down + White Tee + Jeans + Strappy Heels + Basket Bag

The first look comes from one of my favorite Parisian style influencers, Julie of @leasy_inparis. If you’re into simple yet chic style, you’ll get a ton of inspiration from her page. This outfit in particular is really very minimal but also so chic. This is an alternative way to style a button down, perhaps something you could try this spring (I know I’m going to!) Along with her tee and button down, she’s wearing a pair of mid-wash blue jeans, strappy sandals (I chose a pair with a more practical heel!) and, the piéce de résistance, a basket bag.

Striped Shirt + Lady Jacket + Jeans + Loafers

Another favorite, @elodieromy, shares more feminine outfit ideas. She does layering incredibly well. Take for example this look. She’s layered a striped button down under a tan collarless jacket. That ruffle collar at the top makes a lovely statement, but this could also work with just a regular collared button down as well. She kept her overall look very polished with a pair of dark wash jeans, brown loafers, and a brown shoulder bag. Also, peep the brooch on her jacket as well! The brooch is probably the biggest accessory trend for spring. I’ve been eyeing this one.

Blue Sweater + Jeans + Sneakers + Matching Bag

Another easy look from @leasy_inparis (I’ve got a few in this post!), this one has a bit of a color story with it’s light blue sweater and matching handbag. This color is very trendy right now, but, obviously, you could pick any color that suits you. The basic outfit formula is a sweater, mid-wash straight jeans (Parisian’s love their straight leg jeans!), and a low profile sneaker. I’d also like to point out that the accessories really make this look chic given how basic it is. She’s got a tortoiseshell claw clip, gold earrings, and square frame sunglasses. That blue bag she’s wearing looks like this one from Sézane which I own in black (sold out in this blue colorway.)

Tee + Blazer + Cropped Jeans + Loafers

This simple outfit formula is one of my go-tos in spring and fall. Here’s she’s wearing a plain white tee, structured blazer, jeans, and loafers. A few things of note for this look. She’s wearing socks with her loafers. If you haven’t jumped on this trend yet…why not?! It’s so practical! Look for a crew sock that’s a bit on the longer side so there is no skin showing. She’s also wearing a pair of statement earrings which add some texture and interest. And lastly, she’s matched her bag to her belt, both in this beautiful sage green color. It’s a nice touch, but you don’t have to do this (don’t overcomplicate it!)

Sweatshirt + Dark Wash Jeans + Sneakers + Trench Coat

This is how you do casual chic! A trench coat can do it all from casual to dressy. I highly recommend having one in your closet. Let’s breakdown this look. She’s wearing a sweatshirt which she’s tucked into her jeans to make the look more intentional. She’s also wearing a pair of indigo wash jeans which give more dressy vibes compared to a lighter wash jean. She’s also wearing matching sneakers which again is a nice touch but don’t get hung up that. She’s also got on that trench coat which elevates this more casual look. Lastly, she’s added some jewelry.

Tee + Bomber Jacket + Cream Pants + Boat Shoes

Camille is a newer follow for me, but her style is amazing (and she has amazing hair!) One of her signature accessories is her scarves which she ties at the neck (*adds scarf to wishlist.) This look features a jacket (this exact one is from Soeur but sold out), a pair of casual cream colored pants, a pair of boat shoes (sub loafers for a similar look), a green neck scarf, and green bag. I love this whole look.

Sweater + Trench + Jeans + Ballet Flats

Another chic look, this one with a sweater, trench coat, cropped jeans, and Chanel ballet flats (I’ve linked a similar but much less expensive option.) This exact trench coat is the Carter Jacket from Sézane. It’s currently sold out, but you can sign up for a restock notification. She’s also got on another scarf, this one in gray, and a black structured handbag. This is a chic mom!

Button Down + White Linen Pants + Heeled Sandals

This is a lovely look for any spring break plans you may have. This yellow color is growing on me! This outfit formula is a lightweight button down, linen trousers, and strappy black sandals. She’s accessorized with some statement earrings, a gold clutch bag, and a few large bangles. This one would be easy to recreate with pieces from your closet.

Button Down + Suede Jacket + Black Jeans + Slingbacks

Léa of @brunechocolat not only shares tons of style inspiration, she also has beautiful interiors she features on her page. Her page is so artistic and such a treat for the eye. As far as style goes, a lot of her clothing comes from Sézane, and you’ll find her all over Pinterest if you search for Parisian style. I’m totally going to recreate this look which features a blue button down paired with a suede jacket (never thought to pair these two colors together but I love it!), washed black jeans, and leopard print slingback heels. She’s accessorized with a belt and a tote bag.
