My Goals For 2022

a white comforter with a cup of tea, a chambray blue Day Designer Planner, glasses, a chocolate croissant, and a silver pen

It’s that time of year where everybody starts making grand resolutions for the coming year. I know new year’s resolutions get a bad reputation, but personally, I love setting goals for the year. Not only does it give me direction, it also helps me get through these cold, winter months that seem to drag on forever. I’m very much a ‘goals’ person so today, I’m sharing with you my goals for 2022.

2021 was a great year for me in terms of really getting into blogging and the influencer space. I’m really proud of what I was able to accomplish, and I’m looking forward to growing in 2022. Thanks for being here and supporting this blog!

If you’re interested, here were my goals for 2021. Overall, I think I did pretty well.

Also, if you’re looking for a new planner, check out Day Designer! I did my research on the best daily planners (literally hours of research), and Day Designer came out on top! It’s incredibly detailed and just what I was looking for. I love that each day includes an hourly breakdown as well as a to-do list as I’m using my planner for my personal and professional tasks. My Goals For 2022

Complete the Tighter Together Challenge

I love doing a fitness challenge in January. December is always a month of indulgence (no regrets!), but I really like to start the year fresh with renewed healthy habits like regular exercise and nourishing foods. It makes me feel better and have more energy!

Start An Email List

Look for this in the next few weeks! Every expert in blogging and entrepreneurship says you should have an email list for your website so that is something I’m hoping to accomplish in January.

Reduce Waste In My Home

I feel like reducing waste is really something I need to work on in 2022 to be more environmentally-friendly. I’m embarrassed to say, but I use entirely too many plastic bags. I want to purchase some reusable bags for food storage and also possibly some of these Swedish dish cloths for clean up. I will share more about this in the coming months!

Set Up More Systems To Increase Efficiency

In 2021, I was kind of all over the place when it came to time management. Increasing efficiency in my life is tough because I don’t have large blocks of time to work. I have about 2 hours of uninterrupted time in the morning when Leo is at preschool to get things done, but otherwise, I am working in fits and starts throughout the day. It makes me feel a little frazzled. I want to incorporate some block scheduling into my life for better time management in 2022.

Read 24 Books

I always have a reading goal on my list! It was the same last year, and I *think* I hit this number, but I’m not sure as I wasn’t consistent about documenting the books I read in my Goodreads account. I’m hoping to be better about that this year.

Join Tic Tok

LOL. This one makes me chuckle. To increase exposure to my blog, I’m going to attempt to add this social media platform to my lineup. We’ll see how it goes.

Increase My Video Content

Apparently reels are the way to grow your following on Instagram so look for more of these from me in the coming year. I actually really enjoy making and editing them so I’m excited for this.

Go On More Adventures

We haven’t traveled much at all in the last 2 years. I haven’t been on an airplane since 2019. That is insane to me considering we used to travel all the time. We are already looking into our annual family vacation that we will take this summer, and I’m also hoping to follow Danny on one of his work trips to NYC this year.
