Here is a fresh spring makeup look for you! When I think of spring makeup, I think dewy and sun-kissed but also a little rosy and feminine. In this post, I’m showing you how to recreate this spring makeup look, and the beauty products I’ll be using this spring.
Spring Makeup Look

These are the products I use and the order I use them in. It’s not shown here, but I always use a makeup sponge to apply all of my liquids and creams as I find it blends well into my ‘mature’ skin.
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Foundation // This foundation is great for dry skin as it’s light and moisturizing and doesn’t settle into fine lines. The coverage is pretty light but still tones down the red areas on my cheeks. It contains SPF 40 and hyaluronic acid which is hydrating to the skin.
Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer // I’ve talked about this concealer in this daily makeup post. It has a built-in eye cream which is extra moisturizing and doesn’t settle in my eye creases.
Glossier Wowder Setting and Finishing Powder // I’ve had this powder for a long time (I don’t think it’s ever going to run out!) I use it to set the concealer under my eyes and also on the oily spots around my nose and forehead.
Glossier Solar Paint Creme Bronzer // As I’ve gotten older, I’ve been moving away from powders and embracing more cream beauty products as I find they are less drying to the skin. This bronzer is a fairly recent purchase for me, and I like it. It does take a little longer to apply then a powder bronzer as you have to blend more, but I love the natural sun-kissed glow it gives my skin. I place a couple dots each under my cheekbones, at my temples, and along the sides of my chin. Then I use a pretty damp sponge to blend, blend, blend. I use the shade ‘ray.’
L’Oreal Brow Stylist Definer // My sparse brows need a lot of work to get them looking good. I use this brow pencil to fill them in, and then I brush them up with the spoolie brush on the other end of the pencil.
Glossier Boy Brow Grooming Pomade // I’ve been using this product for years to fluff my brow hairs after using the brow pencil. I brush straight up along the inner brows then slightly angled as a move along the length of my brow.
Morphe 9T Eyeshadow Palette // I love all the neutrals in this palette, but for this look, I use the shade ‘nectarine’ over my whole lid and then apply the shade ‘milk chocolate’ in the crease and outer corner.
Shiseido Eyelash Curler // Along with my brows, my eyelashes could also use a lot of help. This eyelash curler is great at lifting my eyelashes.
Ilia Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara // I love this mascara. I’ve mentioned this before, but I can’t stand clumpy mascara. This one lengthens and separates beautifully.
Ilia Multi-Stick Cheek and Lip // I use this stick in the shade ‘At Last’ for my blush and lip color. It’s also very creamy and moisturizing, and I like that it does double duty.
Glossier Haloscope Highlighter // I apply this creamy highlighter above my cheekbones (avoiding my crow’s feet), along my nose, and at my cupid’s bow above my lip. Then I use a makeup sponge to blend it a little. I like that it’s shimmery, but not glittery.
Avene Thermal Spring Water // The last step is not entirely necessary but makes me feels very Parisian and elegant (just another Francophile over here!) I spray a mist of this thermal spring water over the entire face for a dewy, fresh finish.
