Today, I’m sharing my everyday clean beauty make-up routine. For my regular, stay-at-home mom life, my goal is to look natural yet put together. I have some redness on my cheeks and some dark circles under my eyes that I like to minimize. I also like to enhance my brows and eyes just a bit to make them pop. Otherwise, I prefer to keep my make-up as natural as possible.
When I was in my 20’s, I bought whatever make-up they sold at Target. It was easily accessible and fit my budget. Now that I’m older, I invest a little more money in to my make-up products. I’ve been using all these items for at least a few months, many of them for years.
I also prefer mostly, clean natural beauty and skincare products. Clean beauty can be more expensive, but these items are relatively affordable compared to some I’ve seen on the market.
I’ve included my everyday make-up below, but also noted some products that I add in when I’m getting dressed up either for date night or for shooting photos.

My Clean Beauty Make-Up Routine

Foundation: For everyday, I use the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Foundation. This foundation is super lightweight and provides a light dewy coverage that leaves my skin really glowy. It feels like I’m wearing nothing on my face. On days I want more coverage, I use the Tarte Babassu Foundcealer Skincare Foundation. It provides a more matte medium coverage but isn’t heavy or cakey.
Concealer: I use the Tarte Shape Tape Ultra Creamy Concealer. The Tarte Shape Tape Concealer is a cult favorite beauty product, and they recently released the ultra creamy version with a built in eye cream that is meant for those with dry and mature skin. I find it blends better and smooths over fine lines around my eyes more so than the original version. Highly recommend!
Powder: The Glossier Wowder Finishing Powder is my go-to powder for setting my foundation and concealer and reducing shine in the oily spots around my nose and forehead.
Bronzer: I currently use the Becca Sunlit Bronzer in the shade Capri Coast, but it appears this brand is going out of business. If you have any natural looking bronzer recommendations, please leave them in the comments! I also use my bronzer on the crease of my eyelids to add a little color and make my eyes pop. It saves me a little time.

Brows: I love the L’Oreal Brow Stylist to outline and fill in my brows. I have very sparse and light brows so I like to define them a bit more. Then I use Glossier Boy Brow to fluff them up.
Lashes: I curl my lashes using a cheap eye lash curler I bought at Target, but I’m adding this one to my Christmas wish list. Then I use Ilia Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara which I love. I prefer lengthening mascaras instead of volumizing ones especially for daytime. I also hate when mascara is clumpy and this one isn’t all all.
Blush: Right now, I’m using the Miliani Baked Blush in the shade Luminoso to add a little color to my cheeks. I also really like the Glossier Cloud Paint in the shade Dusk.
Lips: I’m not a big lipstick person, but I love the Glossier Generation G Sheer Matte Lipstick. This lipstick doesn’t require liner and it just wears really natural. The shade ‘Like’ is my go-to daily lipstick that adds just a touch of color to my lips. I also own the shade ‘Poppy’ which is fun to wear for a night out.
Highlighter: I don’t wear highlighter everyday, but when I’m getting dressed up, I like adding a little bit of shine to my cheeks and in the cupid’s bow of my upper lips. I use the Tarte Amazonian Clay Highlighter.

That’s my clean beauty make-up routine! It may seem like a lot of steps, but in total the entire application only takes me 6-7 minutes. If you’re curious about my skincare routine, check out this post.

Thank you so much for sharing these products – love that you suggest products from various brands. Would you mind sharing where you purchased the applicators/brushes that you use? Any advice on applying foundation with the brush? This is new territory for me!
Your welcome! Glad to hear that this post was helpful! I use the Real Techniques Blend and Blur Foundation brush for my foundation and the Real Techniques Sponge to blend my concealer. (both from Target) For the rest, I just use some cheapie brushes I got as a gift a few years ago. They don’t have a brand name on them. 🙂
Thanks so much – really enjoy all of your content <3
