Do you own a black turtleneck? I received one for Christmas last year and it’s become a closet staple for me during the Fall and Winter months. It keeps my neck nice and cozy in those freezing temperatures we have here in Kansas City. I’m excited to add this one to my November Capsule Wardrobe (post coming soon)!
I’m styling this black turtleneck four ways today. This particular black turtleneck is from J. Crew and fits true to size (I’m wearing the XS).
LOOK ONE: Black Turtleneck + Black Skinny Jeans + Cognac Booties

Black Turtleneck // Black Skinny Jeans // Cognac Booties // Crossbody Bag
If you’ve been reading along, you know I love an all black look. I especially love this look paired with the warm brown hues of the cognac booties and crossbody bag.
LOOK TWO: Black Turtleneck + Cardigan + Skinny Jeans + Black Loafers

Black Turtleneck // Cardigan // Skinny Jeans // Loafers // Crossbody Bag
I’m breaking out my new favorite cardigan for this look. I’ve owned many cardigans before – I usually purchase the cheap ones from Target and at the end of the season the material is so stretched out. I’m glad I invested in this one that will hopefully last a few years.
LOOK THREE: Black Turtleneck + Faux Leather Jacket + Straight Leg Jeans + Sneakers

Black Turtleneck // Faux Leather Jacket // Straight Leg Jeans // Sneakers
I’ve had this faux leather jacket for a few years, but I don’t pull it out very often. I think because I always thought it looked too ‘extra’ for my lifestyle, but I figured out that I can wear it dressed down with sneakers and some distressed jeans, and I don’t feel quite so edgy.
LOOK FOUR: Black Turtleneck + Wide Leg Crops + Black Pumps

Black Turtleneck // Wide Leg Crops // Black Pumps
File this look away for when we are actually wearing pumps again!
LOOK FIVE: Black Turtleneck + Overalls + Mules

Black Turtleneck // Overalls // Cheetah Mules // Crossbody Bag // Headband
This turned out to be one of my favorite looks (I’m wearing it today!). I like how the black turtleneck elevates the overalls a bit.
