I love refocusing on healthier habits in January, not to lose weight or change the way I look, but to start feeling more energized and improve my mental health. January is a tough month for me and having a goal to focus on helps me maintain a positive outlook during those cold, dreary days stuck inside. I also love that I sleep SO much better when I’m exercising regularly. For my suggestions on how to get better sleep, see these tips! I decided it was time to refresh my workout clothes at the beginning of this year so I purchased some new affordable activewear.
I bought 3 pairs of leggings, 3 pairs of shorts, and 4 longline sports bras. All the items I purchased were under $30 besides the sneakers (which are actually on sale for under $100!)
If you’re looking for a seamless panty to wear with your leggings, check out this brand! I ‘requested’ some seamless underwear in my stocking, and Danny found some that I really love. I have them in the brief, the hip hugger, and the boyshorts cut.
If you’re curious what I’m doing for my workouts right now, I signed up for the Tighter Together program that is put on by Madeline. Sign ups are closed now, but you can still use her Moves app for circuit style strength training workouts.
Affordable Activewear

Leggings // Sports Bra // Shoes // Water Bottle
These leggings are from the brand CRZ Yoga on Amazon. I had previously purchased a pair in black and really liked them. They have a medium compression and fit like a glove. I sized down one to the XXS. This long line sports bra is also from the same brand, and it runs small. I have my true size, but if you’re busty you may consider sizing up.

Sports Bra // Leggings // Sneakers
This long line sports bra is also from the CRZ Yoga brand on Amazon. It has a Y-Back and fits true to size. These leggings are another dupe for the Lululemon Align leggings. I really love them in this colorway. I have my true size.

Sports Bra // Leggings // Sneakers
This sports bra and leggings are both from Old Navy which has really good deals on activewear. This bra says medium support, but I found it to be supportive enough for all my activities including running. These leggings are from their Power Chill line which is a more light compression.

Sports Bra // Shorts // Sneakers
I have been wanting to try these high-waisted shorts from Free People for a long time, and they definitely live up to the hype. Plus they are super affordable at $30 and come in a TON of colorways. I have the Tahitian Vanilla (seen in the picture above), Black, and Army colors. This sports bra is also from Old Navy and fits true to size.
