The holiday season is just around the corner, and it’s time to start thinking about holiday outfits! If you like feeling festive but don’t want to change your minimal style, I have three minimal holiday party looks to inspire you this season. I’ve put together these holiday looks that range from casual to fancy to suit any holiday event you have on your busy calendar. These outfits are festive yet elegant and use pieces that can be worn beyond the holidays.
***Note that these pieces were gifted from Everlane as part of a partnership, but this blog post is not sponsored. I truly love this brand and own many items that I have purchased with my own money.
Three Minimal Holiday Party Looks
Gold Tank + Full Length Jeans
My go-to outfit formula for a night out with girlfriends or date night with the hubby is almost always jeans and a cute top. For the holiday season, I love adding in some metallics for a little shimmer and sparkle. So festive! I’d wear this look for happy hour, a holiday pop-up bar, a holiday get-together with friends, or even a show.
Outfit Details:
The Satin Tank: This champagne gold tank has a v-neckline in the front and back. It’s made with a sustainably produced material called Naia Acetate which is composed of responsibly sourced wood pulp and 40% recycled waste material (wild!) It has front seams which give it an added special detail, and it fits relaxed at true size. I would consider sizing down if you are petite (I’m wearing the size 0 for reference.
The Mid-Way Jean: I love a full length jean with heels for a dressy ‘going out’ look. This pair is a wide leg (but not too wide) full length style with a mid-rise. These are made with 98% organic cotton and 2% elastane so they have a bit of stretch. If rigid denim feels too uncomfortable for you, this pair may be just what you are looking for.

Satin Slip Dress + Blazer
In my opinion, there is nothing more elegant and chic than a black slip dress. If you’re attending any fancy holiday parties this season, this outfit would be perfect. Plus, this dress is absolutely something you could wear beyond the holidays for any fancy events or get-togethers you may have throughout the year. Although black is classic and timeless, this slip dress also comes in a champagne gold color (the same fabric as the top shown above) if you’re looking to go all out this holiday season.
I paired this slip dress with a classic black blazer for a light outerwear option to carry along with me. I also wore some classic black block heel pumps, a vintage clutch bag (it was my Grandma’s!) and some gold jewelry. I also love adding a bold red lip for any holiday events.
Outfit Details:
The Satin Slip Dress: This slip dress has the perfect body-skimming fit that doesn’t cling to your lumps and bumps (we’ve all go them!) It has a beautiful and sexy v-neckline that is low cut but somehow modest as well along with front seams to add detail and interest. The dress has a maxi length that is petite-friendly and two side slits for movement and flow. It’s so elegant and classy!
The Oversized Blazer in Buttersmooth: (see the picture below) You’ll probably need some kind of outerwear option to carry along to your holiday events since it’s pretty chilly this time of year. I recommend a polished black blazer for this. This classic, relaxed fit blazer is made from a TENCEL and cotton blend. I love that it’s not too long on my petite frame, and that the fit is not too boxy. I have my true size 0.

Cardigan + Barrel Jeans
For any casual holiday gatherings this season, an elevated sweater and jeans look is the way to go. This look features a slim fitting little cardigan with a v-neckline and some cool and trendy barrel jeans. I added a festive hair bow (mine is older from Free People, but I’ve linked a similar option below), some gold statement jewelry, a black clutch bag, and classic black block heels to dress it up a bit. I love that the pieces in this outfit will work year-round and not just for the holidays.
Outfit Details:
The Cardigan in UltraSoft Merino: This light cardigan is made with a fine Merino wool so it’s feminine and delicate. It is also incredibly soft. It has a cropped fit, and, if you’re up for it, you could unbutton a few bottom buttons for a sexy look. I love that this cardigan can be dressed up or worn more casually to the office. It fits slim at true size.
The Way High Curve Jean: I used to think barrel jeans were quite ugly, but I’ve officially been converted. Know that this pair has a more subtle curve than other pairs I’ve seen. If you’re on the fence, give these a shot! These jeans have a high waist and come in two inseam options. They are made with 98% cotton and 2% elastane so they are low-stretch. This is the washed black color.
