Welcome to The Weekly Edit! In this weekly series, I share my daily outfits and other things I’m enjoying this week, like books, articles, podcasts, sale finds, instagram accounts, and recipes.
The last couple of weeks have been extra heavy, with the scary situation happening in Texas right now and the extreme weather we’ve been having here in Kansas City. Thankfully, we didn’t lose power, but we were stuck inside for several days in a row. Preschool was cancelled for over a week, and the kids were getting stir crazy. The weather has improved here, but I’m still very concerned about the situation in Texas. Below I’m sharing some ways to help those in need there.
In other, much more superficial news, I have a LIKETOKNOW.IT page now so you can more easily shop my outfits. I also added a Shop page on my blog so you can shop my outfits from here, too. Just for transparency sake, I do receive a small commission for each purchase you make through my LIKETOKNOW.IT links (at no cost to you!). Thank you for supporting me and this little blog of mine!

The NY Times put out a list of organizations accepting donations to help those in need in the South. We personally donated to Austin Mutual Aid.
An instagram account I follow called @sharonsaysso shared an excel sheet with a list of actual people you can help in Texas.
I loved this post by Liz of Pure Joy Home. She crowdsourced a list of ways to stay informed and educated about the world.
In case you missed it, I shared my February 10×10 post on Tuesday. This is a monthly series I’m doing this year where I take 10 pieces and style them 10 different ways.
I enjoyed this article by the Every Mom about avoiding toddler mealtime battles. The gist – don’t stress about it!
Danny and I have been drinking this Yogi Bedtime Tea every night before bed. It’s become a calming nightly ritual of ours.
I shared this on Insta Stories earlier this week, but I’m an ambassador for the Savage Sweat Challenge which is a fitness challenge hosted by a local KC company called City Shape. Here’s the link if you’re interested in joining me for the challenge. My discount code is SWEAT11 for 20% off. It’s going to be fun!
I made this chicken and broccoli stir fry this week for dinner, and it was so delicious.
I’m deep in to planning my Spring Capsule wardrobe! With the weather being so crappy (and no sunny vacations planned), I’ve needed something to look forward to. I really like this dress and this top from Target’s new Spring arrivals.
Hope you have a lovely weekend!
