Welcome to the Weekly Edit! In this weekly blog post, I share a life update and my daily outfits, plus links from the week.
Hi, friends! It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve posted one of these. Summer has turned out to be a pretty busy time with our road trip, t-ball, get-togethers and such. This week was really rainy so we basically chilled at home with little outings when it let up for a few hours.
Danny started a new remote job a couple weeks ago which has him working from home everyday. That has been a little bit of a transition, but it’s been so nice for the kids to see him at lunch time.
On Friday night, Danny and I had a little date night which started with some happy hour drinks with friends, and then dinner at Jarocho’s, a Mexican seafood restaurant. We haven’t been out without the kids since our anniversary in October so it was much needed.
As far as the rest of the weekend goes, we just returned from the farmer’s market this morning, and we are heading to my in-law’s pool this afternoon. Tomorrow, we are cooking up some ribs and checking out the fireworks for the Fourth. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend!

Links From The Week
We had movie night with the kids last weekend and watch Wish Dragon on Netflix. It was really cute, and I would definitely recommend it to watch with your family.
I binged read (is that a thing?!) the second book in the Bridgerton series, The Viscount Who Loved Me. So good!
We made these Caprese Sandwiches this week for dinner, and they were so fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend these for a light summer dinner.
I’ve been wearing these air camis from Everlane on repeat this summer. They are super soft and light for those hot and humid days when you don’t want your clothing to be too tight.
I just found out that the third season of RomComPods is out! If you haven’t heard of this podcast before, it’s basically like a romantic comedy in podcast form. Love it.
We also made these Moroccan-Spiced Turkey Burgers from Ambitious Kitchen this week, and they were amazing.
Happy Fourth of July!
