In this post, I’m sharing my picks for the Sephora Spring Savings Event. This is a great sale to stock up on items you purchase regularly or products you’ve been wanting to try. All the products I’m sharing below are ones I use regularly and would recommend!
Here are all the sale details. It is staggered based on your status (how much money you’ve spent at Sephora). The sale starts on 4/9 for Rouge members, 4/13 for VIB members, and 4/15 for Beauty Insiders. The higher status you have the more money you save (20% for Rouge members, 15% for VIB members, and 10% for Beauty Insiders). If you sign up for Sephora’s email list, you automatically get Beauty Insider status.
I will probably pick out a couple new items to try based on recommendations I’ve seen. I’m thinking about trying this Farmacy Honeymoon Glow Serum and this Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Eye Cream. You can check out all my other beauty and skincare recommendations here!
My Sephora Spring Savings Event Picks
Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream
This is the moisturizer I use every morning. I like that it is super hydrating without being heavy or greasy. It absorbs well into the skin before applying make-up.
Becca Cosmetics Sunlit Bronzer
This product comes at a higher price point than I usually like to spend on my make-up, but it’s worth it. I can’t stand bronzers that make me look orangey. This one gives me a subtle healthy glow without looking too harsh. I have the shade ‘Bali Sands.’
Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops
I mix these drops with my moisturizer every morning and apply it to my face. I like that I can control the amount of tan I get with the number of drops I use. In the winter, I stick to just a couple drops, but in the summer I use around 5 or 6. I usually buy the medium, but I’m thinking I’m going to buy the Dark shade for the summer.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Shampoo and Mask
Danny uses this shampoo and hair mask to treat his dry scalp. He has tried a ton of different products, but this is the only one that ever worked. And it works really well. His scalp is no longer dry and flaky. He uses the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo and the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Cooling Hydration Mask.
Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen
I use this sunscreen as the last step in my morning skincare routine. It’s light weight and goes on really smooth. It’s really great for wearing under make-up.
Tarte Foundcealer Foundation
You may have heard me talk about his product before. This is my go-to foundation. I like that it covers really well without being super heavy. It provides medium coverage and evens out the red areas on my cheeks. If you are going to splurge on any make-up product, I’d say make it your foundation. It’s the base of your whole face and it makes a huge difference if you buy something that is good quality.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and Laneige Water Sleeping Mask
I chose these products for my free Sephora birthday gift. I had heard great things about them both. If you have dry skin or lips, these two products are amazing. You apply them at night before bed, sleep with them on, and wipe the excess off in the morning. Every time I’ve used them my skin has felt super soft the morning after.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Highlighter
I just recently purchased this highlighter after using a cheap drugstore brand for several months. I really love it. It’s not super shimmery and blends really well for the subtle highlight I’m looking for.
Rose Quartz Facial Roller
I use a similar rose quartz facial roller a few times a week to reduce puffiness. Other benefits include increasing lymphatic drainage of toxins and stimulating blood flow. Here’s an article that goes into more depth about facial rolling and how to do it.
The Ordinary AHA 30% and BHA 2% Peeling Solution
You honestly don’t need a sale to purchase this one. It’s only $7 at regular price, but if you’re shopping for something you might as well try this it out! This is an exfoliating peel that can be used twice a week. It makes my skin soft and glowy.
