Dads can be tough to shop for so I enlisted the help of my husband, Danny, to create a list of holiday gift ideas for dads. Whether he’s a gadget lover, an outdoor enthusiast, or someone who likes to dress well, there is something for him on this list. Most of the items here are things we actually own and recommend highly. I hope you find something special to gift the dad in your life this holiday season.
Holiday Gift Ideas For Dads
Topo Designs Travel Toiletry Pouch
Dads need toiletry bags, too, even if they don’t have quite as many products as us. This one from Topo Designs is durable yet stylish, and has a triangular design that’s meant to maximize space.
Faherty Sweater Hoodie
Better than your basic hoodie, this sweater hoodie from Faherty is casual yet cool. It would make a great gift for the dad who likes to dress well.
Smart Switch With Voice Control
These smart switches allow you to operate your lamps, humidifiers, space heaters, and other household devices with voice control though Alexa or Google Home. We have more than a few at our house.
Loop Earplugs
These are actually a great gift for everyone. You can wear them at night to drown out noise or help keep you focused during the day.
Sonos Roam Portable Speaker
We get so much use out of this portable speaker. We take it camping, in the backyard, or move it around our home so we can have music going wherever we want. It works with our Alexa app, and it’s waterproof, too.
Nudie Slim-Fit Jeans
Danny recommends these slim-fit jeans from Nudie. They have a slim-straight fit, mid-rise, and are slightly stretchy.
Bombas Ankle Socks
A nice pair of socks always makes a good gift or stocking stuffer for dads. These ankle socks from Bombas are well made and versatile.
Rechargeable Headlamp
For any dad that likes camping or doing work around the house, a headlamp comes in handy. This one is rechargeable, too.
AO Pilot Sunglasses
These classically cool sunglasses from AO would make a great gift for the stylish dad. This style from AO, a quality American made brand, has been a favorite among military pilots since the ’50s.
Kelty Loveseat Camp Chair
We own and love this camping chair from Kelty. We take it camping and to our kid’s soccer games. It seats two (plus one little kid who wants to squeeze in, lol) and has arm rests and cup holders. Plus, it folds up for easy storage and transport.
Yeti Colster Can Cooler
I don’t think my husband can drink a beer without his Yeti Colster. Not only does it keep your beer frigid cold, it also doesn’t make your hands freezing either which makes it perfect for outdoor parties or camping.
