I’m recapping my outfits from the first week of my fall capsule wardrobe. Usually this time of year in the late days of summer, I’m bursting at the seams to wear all my fall clothes but am usually thwarted by hot and humid late summer temperatures. However, I’ve noticed that fall comes much earlier in Seattle than it does in Kansas City, and that has been SO nice (we recently moved!) It has even been in the the low 50s a few mornings the past week so sweaters and jackets were actually a necessity.
The start of a capsule wardrobe is always so exciting to me which is why I don’t think I’ll ever stop creating these. This exercise also helps shed light on the pieces I actually wear rather than ones that are cute but not practical for my life. With each new capsule, I learn something new about my personal style. I hope you’ll follow along in the weeks to come as I mix and match these pieces, and show you how to make the most of your wardrobe.

I love that you are in the Pacific Northwest now! I love your style and your capsule wardrobes, but will be following along even more closely now, as I’m in Washington state too. (Isn’t it beautiful?) Thank you!
Thank you! It is SO beautiful here. We love it.
