I’m sharing my Fall Bucket List for 2021 today! This is probably my most favorite post to write all year long. I LOVE fall. September through December are the best months of the year in my opinion. If you know me at all, you know that I love holidays and making special memories with my family.
I have a few activities this year that I’m particularly excited about like going to a fall festival (yay for being vaccinated!) and cooking all my favorite fall foods like soup and pumpkin bread.
I’ve actually already checked off one item on my bucket list. This week, I went with my sister and mom to pick up mums from Johnson Family Farms, a local farm and pumpkin patch in the KC area. Check it out if you’re local.
I’m also excited for our annual family pumpkin carving contest. My parents do a big scavenger hunt for the kids, we eat big bowls of chili with all our favorite toppings (my family loves white vinegar in our chili, try it!), and then we spend the next hour or so carving pumpkins. It gets super competitive with a trophy for the winner. (I’ve never won)
