We are less than a week away from Thanksgiving, and I have some fun outfit ideas to share with you today. I know that Thanksgiving is going to be different this year, but I still plan on dressing up slightly. For me, that means a little bit more feminine, a little bit more color and a touch more makeup. For someone that doesn’t really have much opportunity to get fancy, I like to use the holidays as a chance to be more creative with my wardrobe.

I’m sharing six different looks with you today, from semi-dressy to casual. We are actually not gathering with our family this year due to the high number of cases in our area so I’m cooking a small feast, and our little family will spend it at home. I have some fun activities planned (thanks to The Magic Playbook), and we’ll probably watch some Christmas movies.

LOOK ONE

White Blouse // Straight Leg Jeans // Cognac Boots

Starting this style session off with jeans and a feminine top. It really doesn’t get much easier than that. I love these cognac boots with this white shirt. I topped the outfit off with these fun tassel earrings that I pull out occasionally this time of year.

LOOK TWO

Olive Button Down // Straight Leg Jeans // Black Boots

The draping on this shirt is so good. It’s comfortable, but dressy and you know I love anything in the shade of olive. I paired this drapey button down with straight leg denim and some black boots.

LOOK THREE

Dress // Black Boots // Headband

I’m not normally one for plaid at this point in my life, but this one caught my eye. This wine color is another one of the non-neutral colors that I will add to my wardrobe. I decided to go the matchy-matchy route with this headband in the same shade.

LOOK FOUR

Puff Sleeve Tee // Wide Leg Crops // Snakeskin Mules

I love this outfit. The subtle puff sleeve on this top gives it a little something extra, and the wide leg crops are actually really comfortable. The snakeskin print on the shoes gives this neutral look a little pattern.

LOOK FIVE

Brown Sweater Top // White Jeans // Heeled Mules (old from Old Navy, similar)

I’m really into this trend of pairing browns and creams with white denim. It’s a very sophisticated combination. I like it. I’m fairly short, so whenever I’m dressing up, I like to wear at least a little heel.

LOOK SIX

Black Sweatshirt // Skinny Jeans // Sneakers

Here’s a more dressed down option for you. I pulled out my most comfortable pair of shoes for this. These Allbirds Wool Runners are made from sustainable materials and are incredibly comfortable. I added a little hair bow to this casual outfit to make it more ‘holiday.’
