The Sephora Savings Event for Spring 2023 is here! Depending on your status at Sephora (i.e. how much you spend) you can get between 10% and 20% off. I’m at the VIB level which is the middle tier between Rouge and Insider so I’m getting 15% off. In this post, I’m rounding up all my favorite products that are on sale. You’ll see that I definitely don’t hop around to different brands. If I find a brand I like, I tend to purchase other things from their line. My favorites are Biossance, Ilia, and Merit Beauty though I own a few one offs from other brands.

Sephora Savings Event Spring Picks
Merit Beauty
Merit Beauty Instant Glow Serum // I shared a review of my favorite Merit Beauty products here, but this serum is a relatively new purchase that I hadn’t tried yet. It’s a biphase serum (meaning oil and water based, you need to shake it prior to use) with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. I apply this in the morning prior to my moisturizer and it gives me a glowy, dewey look.
Merit Beauty Bronze Balm Sheer Sculpting Bronzer // This is by far my favorite bronzer. It looks so natural. I use the shade Clay.
Merit Beauty Flush Balm Cream Blush // I’ve had a thing for cream blushes the last 2 years, and this creamy blush from Merit blends so well and isn’t too heavy. I like the shade Beverly Hills for my skin tone.
Merit Beauty Brow 1980 Volumizing Eyebrow Gel // I started using this eyebrow gel about a month ago. I’m always looking for products to enhance my brows; they are so sparse. This product helps shape your brows and adds a little color.
Merit Beauty Tinted Lip Oil // I love this stuff. My lips are super dry and most lip colors dry them out even more. But this Tinted Lip Oil actually hydrates them. The Marrakech shade is my favorite.
Biossance
Biossance Squalane + Marine Algae Firming and Lifting Eye Cream // Eye Creams are notorious for being a waste of money, but I’ve actually had good results from this one. I’ve used it for years!
Biossance Squalane + 10% Lactic Acid Resurfacing Serum // I like using a chemical exfoliator twice a week to help with skin brightness and radiance. I switch off between this and the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow.
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Brightening Moisturizer // This luxe moisturizer hydrates and brightens which I appreciate. Some reviews complain about the smell, but it doesn’t bother me.
Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Firming Oil // When my skin is feeling really dry, I like to add this oil to the last step of my skincare routine after moisturizer. It really helps to lock in hydration.
Ilia
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Foundation // This is my ride or die foundation. It’s so light weight and hydrating and covers my red areas really well. It feels like I’m wearing no makeup when I put this on.
Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer // I don’t really like wearing heavy concealers as they tend to settle into my fine lines so I was so happy to find this lightweight concealer that covers my under eyes without looking cakey.
Ilia Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara // I’ve been using this mascara for a couple years now, and I won’t use anything else. If you prefer natural looking lashes then I highly recommend this one. It makes my lashes look longer without any clumping, and it doesn’t smudge at all.
Other Brands
Glossier Generation G Matte Lipstick // Lately, I’ve been enjoying adding a red lip to my everyday look. This is the ultimate low maintenance red lip color. It feels more like a lip stain as it goes on light (although buildable) and fades evenly over time.
Paula’s Choice Clinical 1% Retinol // I recently started using this retinol, and let me tell you, it is strong stuff! I’ve used retinol regularly for years but this stuff has a higher concentration so you need to introduce it slowly. I’m currently using it every 3 nights, and then I will increase frequency over time.
Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask // I cannot live without this product. This has saved my dry lips especially in the winter. I use it nightly.
