Every new season, I like to publish my wishlist. I always have an ongoing wishlist of items I’m hoping to add to my closet. I add and subtract things often, but these nine items have consistently weathered my regular wishlist edits. This is my official summer 2025 wishlist!
If you read my 2025 Wardrobe Goals post, you may remember that one of my main goals this year is to focus on adding accessories rather than clothing. And although four items on this list are clothing items, the rest are accessories. That wouldn’t have been true in past wishlists (far from it, in fact!)
As always, these are items that are mostly classic pieces I intend to wear long past this summer. When creating all these style posts for my blog (like this stay-at-home mom capsule wardrobe and this post on how to style boxer shorts, I often get ideas for items that would work well in my closet because those posts are usually outfit ideas for pieces I already own. I also make this wishlist from seeing style inspiration on other content creators and from Pinterest.
Nine Items On My Summer 2025 Wishlist

I may have a new brand obsession. Donni embodies that laid-back, comfy, summer girl vibe I’m going for this season. After ordering these boxer shorts, I was really impressed with the fit and quality, too. These terry shorts could be styled really similarly to the boxer shorts (see this post) but also worn for morning or evening walks around the neighborhood.

I have a few linen tops but none with this cropped fit. I kind of love when a top justs hangs perfectly right at the waistline of your pants. It makes for an effortless look and doesn’t result in any weird bunching that happens when you attempt to tuck a shirt in. This one could be paired with linen pants, tailored shorts, denim shorts, or even my cotton poplin white skirt. I’m also eyeing this one from Gap.

This bag fits right in with my Nancy Meyer’s inspired summer goals. It’d be great for a day at the playground, on the boat, or to pack for a picnic. You can get it personalized, too.

Dragon Diffusion Nantucket Leather Basket Bag
I have been eyeing one of these bags for months, and this cream color would work really well with most things in my closet. Plus, I don’t own any bags in this color. This may be my summer splurge.

My suede obsession continues! Summer dressing tends to be really basic, but adding some texture with suede accessories would take it up a notch. My first choice is this pair from Everlane (I think the strap around the ankle would make them easier to walk long distances in), but they are currently not available in my size. This pair from Reformation is my second choice.

Donni Striped Button Down Shirt
I have many solid color button down shirts in my closet, but my striped collection could be more well rounded. This one from Donni looks so casual and effortless. I’d style it with denim or tailored shorts (maybe unbuttoned with a tank underneath) or with linen pants.

You may have seen me linking these sneakers a ton recently, and that’s because I’m obsessed! These shoes are designed in Barcelona and crafted by local artisans in Spain. They practice on demand shipping so some colors or styles aren’t in stock all the time which makes them feel a bit more exclusive. Plus, they have that sleek low profile that looks chic and goes with everything.

The hunt for the perfect swimsuit continues (will it ever end?) I’ve heard so many good things about the brand Hunza. They are pricey, but people rave about the fit. I like this bandeau style, but I’m also considering the one piece.

I really want to add to my scarf collection. I recently purchased a green striped one from the same brand (see here for styling tips), and I’m loving it mostly tied on my tote bags for summer. It just adds a little color and interest to a minimal summer look.
