If you happened to catch my last post on the fall trends I’m shopping this year, you may have seen that I’ve already made some purchases for the fall season. I like to plan ahead and find the best pieces for your fall wardrobes! In this post, I’m rounding up all my new fall finds that I’ve added to my closet. Most of these items are really affordable and some come in at more of a mid-range, but every single one of these can be styled so many ways. I have upcoming posts planned with styling ideas, but if you want me to style one piece in particular, let me know in the comments! Let’s get into it!
New Fall Finds I’ve Added To My Closet
Everlane Way High Jean 2.0
The fit on these! It just doesn’t get better than this for a classic, high rise, straight jean. Everlane recently updated these with a slightly lower rise and more room in the booty so if you’ve tried this style in the past without success, it might be worth another shot. For sizing, I would go with your smaller size if you want a more ‘snatched’ look and your larger size for a more relaxed fit. I’m wearing my smaller size here. I’m 5’3″ (with proportionally short legs), and I got the 27.5″ inseam. This is the Dark Indigo wash.
Everlane Box Cut Tee in Heathered Oat
Pardon the wrinkles; this is just out of the package! I’ve owned many of these tees over the years, and they are one of my favorites. I wanted this more creamy beige color for fall which I think pairs really well with browns. These run quite small and do shrink a bit in the wash so I recommend going up at least one size. I’m typically an XS, and I’m wearing the Medium.
Everlane Mariner Rugby Top
A trend in a neutral always feels a little more my speed. This striped rugby shirt from Everlane has a nice relaxed fit that is super comfortable, but the collar gives it polish. I need to play around in my closet to figure out how exactly I’m going to style it, but right now I’m thinking about pairing it with my white cotton skirt and ballet flats or with straight jeans, heeled boots, and a great fall jacket.
Everlane Off Duty Terry French Hoodie
I added this hoodie to my cart last minute as a warm, comfy option for school drop off. My drop off clothes are looking a bit scraggly and needed a refresh. It was on final sale so I can’t exchange it, but I would recommend going up a size; it fits pretty slim.
Agolde Mid-Rise Loose Fit 90s Jeans
I bought these after seeing them on another influencer, and they are perfection! They have a mid-rise that is relaxed and super comfortable. These are the jeans for people who don’t like jeans. I’ll be wearing these on days when I don’t want to wear anything too tight. The length is a bit long on me, but I have really short legs. I’m going to try them out with a few different pairs of shoes, and I may end up cutting them to be more cropped. I went with my smaller size.
Madewell Jamie Boat Shoe
The boat shoe kind of feels like a more casual version of a loafer. This pair from Madewell is under $170 and feels like really good quality; however, for me they run quite small which is weird because all the reviews I read said they fit true to size. I’m exchanging them for a half size up. They also come with a pair of bright blue laces, too! I think they look best with cropped jeans, but I plan to do a blog post styling these so we’ll see.
Alex Mill Marseille Striped Boatneck Tee in Cotton
I had been wanting a burgundy striped top, and I found this one at Alex Mill. It feels like a modern Parisian style with it’s boxy fit and wide sleeves. It’s so classic and chic! This would look so cute with a barn jacket or with a sweater worn over the shoulders this fall. It also comes in a navy and white stripe. I got my true size, XS.
Madewell Mylie Ballet Flat in Wild Cranberry
Obsessed! These are one of my favorite purchases of the bunch. I think one of the best things you can do to elevate your looks is to choose a statement shoe. This spicy red color definitely makes a statement. I like that these ballet flats have a more elongated toe box which makes your legs look longer. They are also made with a buttery soft leather making them extra comfy. I’ll be pairing these with brown, greens, creams, denim, and navy. They fit true to size.
Alex Mill Jo Shirt in Cotton Poplin
Alex Mill is giving me all the fall preppy vibes, and I want everything they offer; however, you know my weakness is a button down shirt. I couldn’t resist this new color in their classic Jo Shirt. This chocolate brown color has been one of my faves for the last couple years. This shirt is a cotton poplin so it’s lightweight but could be layered over a long sleeve tee in the cooler months. I got my true size, and it has a relaxed fit.
Madewell Suede Essential Bucket Tote
This is the suede version of the Essential Bucket Tote from Madewell which I own in black. This olive color is EVERYTHING, but it also comes in a beautiful chocolate brown. I like that this will add just a little color to my outfits this fall. It’s large enough to fit a laptop, and it has an adjustable shoulder strap, too.
Gap Mid-Rise Twill Barrel Pants
I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered these pants, but I was pleasantly surprised! These green barrel pants have a subtle curve and a relaxed fit. I got the petite length, and they fall exactly where I want them to, but they also come in regular and tall options. The waist is a super comfortable mid-rise, too. I would say they run slightly big so take your smaller size if you’re in between sizes.
Gap 100% Cotton Crewneck Cardigan
I purchased the black version of this cardigan in the spring and wore it a ton so I decided I needed the beige version for fall. I plan to wear this over my shoulders right now as the summer winds down than wear it buttoned up with jeans, pants, and maxi skirts for cooler weather. It fits true to size; I’m wearing the XS Regular.
Gap 100% Cotton Oversized Sweater
This sweater! The fit, the color, the quality – it’s all there! It’s perfectly oversized for a cozy fit. I’m a big fan of this dark green color, but it comes in a ton of color options. I already know this is going to get a ton of wear this fall. I got my true size, XS.
Gap Vintage Soft Wedge Crewneck Sweater
Another piece to add to my cozy collection! I would own this in every color if I could. This Vintage Soft line from Gap has a super soft interior fabric, and it feels like a warm hug. I like that it’s nice enough to wear out but comfortable enough to lounge in, too. I took my true size, but you could size up if you wanted a more oversized fit.
