Instead of gift guides this year, I’m sharing some of my favorite things. These are things I use all the time and would definitely recommend either for you or as a gift for someone else This list includes a mix of items from my favorite beauty products, accessories, kitchen gadgets, home items, and more random things! There are items in a variety of price ranges from stocking stockers to splurge gifts. I hope you find something you love either for yourself or someone else. Happy holidays!
Ashley’s Favorite Things

Equilibria Daily Drops ($58)
I use these drops nightly before bed, and they work amazingly to calm my monkey mind and help me fall asleep fast. Truly life changing. Use my code ashrohr for 15% off.

Moves App ($20)
I have used the Moves App by Madeline Moves on and off for over 2 years, and I recently started her Endurance Moves program which I’m loving. Her app is by far the most value for the money with multiple program offerings for different seasons of life. You can gift a subscription, too (only $20!)

Chef’n Citrus Juicer ($20)
This may seem random, but this little citrus juicer is perfect for someone who loves to cook or make cocktails. It makes it so easy to get all the juice out of your lemon or lime without worrying about seeds.

I use my Instant Pot at least once a week for cooking up a big batch of shredded chicken for tacos or other recipes I find.

PMD Facial Cleanser ($99)
I use this vibrating facial cleanser nightly with my face wash to really get my face nice and clean before I apply my serums and moisturizer. Plus, it helps increase the elasticity of my skin, too.

First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads ($18)
This toning pads were initially sent to me as a PR gift, but now I’m hooked and have since repurchased them with my own money. I use them after cleansing in the morning, and they make my skin more bright and glowy.

Olive and June Mani System ($50)
This is such a great gift for any of the women in your life. I love that the kit comes with everything you need to give yourself a salon quality manicure from the clippers, to the file, and polish.

The Tucky Belt ($18)
I recently purchased this belt, and it’s the perfect alternative to the bra tuck hack. And it holds so much better!

B.P. Cat Eye Sunglasses ($15)
These super affordable sunglasses are the ones I reach for the most. They are a little edgy, but still super chic.

Shark Beauty FlexStyle ($270)
This hair tool is a dupe for the Dyson Airwrap, and not only dries your hair really smooth and silky, but also adds incredible volume and gives you that blowout look.

Able Chana Bag ($150)
This is definitely my most worn bag. I love the soft gray color and simple design. Use my code ASHLEYR15 for 15% off.

Ilia Limitless Lash Lengthening Mascara ($28)
This is my absolute favorite natural looking mascara that lengthens your lashes without clumping. It also doesn’t smudge by the end of the day.

Merit Beauty Tinted Lip Oil ($24)
I’m a huge fan of Merit Beauty, and their tinted lip oil is one of my favorite products. I have the Marrakech shade which is a soft peach. It’s super hydrating which is so helpful during those dry winter months.

Paper & Clay Svulme Vase ($59)
Danny and I have recently starting focusing on adding some handmade decor to our home. We purchased this ceramic vase, and I love the pop of color it adds to our mid-century modern style design aesthetic.

Nordstrom Pajama Set ($59)
Danny got me this pajama set a couple years ago, and it’s still so soft and comfy (and has held up amazingly well for being worn so much!) I’m someone who CANNOT sleep in pants so this shorts set works for me, but it also comes in a pants version as well.

Apple AirPods Pro Bluetooth Headphones ($250)
I’ve been stealing Danny’s Airpods for workouts for the past few months so I put these on my Christmas Wishlist this year.

P.F. Candle Co. Candles ($24)
These were gifted to us last Christmas, and they are now my favorite candles. I love the look of the amber jars, and the scents are not artificial smelling at all.

Wilder Posey Boot ($265)
These boots from a small brand called Wilder are definitely an investment, but the quality and attention to detail makes them worth it. Plus, they add a unique cool element to any outfit.

Sheena Marshall Jewelry Dylan Necklace ($68)
I wear this necklace almost everyday. It’s so beautiful and goes with every outfit.

Madewell ReSourced Cotton Beanies ($35)
This are my favorite beanies by far – I own it in this Dried Cedar color, the Almost Black, and the Antique Cream. They fit my head just right, and I like that they aren’t wool which may be warmer but is just too itchy for me.

KOTN Crew Socks ($12)
These crew socks are by far the coolest socks I own. I’ve been wearing them with my casual sneakers a lot lately now that it’s cold outside. Plus, you can feel really good about shopping from this ethical brand.

Shiseido Eyelash Curler ($23)
If you’re eyelashes need a lot of help like mine, I definitely recommend this eyelash curler. I use it daily.

Oaui Shampoo and Conditioner ($60)
I’ve been using Ouai Shampoo and Conditioner for about a year, and my hair has never felt so healthy. I wash my hair about once per week, and one bottle lasts about 6 months.

Amazon Claw Clips ($10)
These are the claw clips I use when it’s Day 6 and 7 after washing my hair, and it’s not looking so hot. My hair is pretty thick, and these hold my hair in place without slippage.

Madewell Chunky Huggie Hoop Earrings ($20)
These are the cutest little hoop earrings for everyday. I wear them all the time, and I love the chunky style.

Ninja Blender and Food Processor Combo ($149)
I use my Ninja blender a few times a week for my post workout smoothies. I like that this system comes with a blender cup for individual smoothies and a big blender for when you’re making more than one. This exact model also comes with a food processor which we use as well.

Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil ($74)
If you’re someone that struggles with dry, dull skin like me, I highly recommend this face oil. I use it every night after my moisturize.

Duluth Trading Company Fire Hose Blanket ($80)
If you’re a family that likes to sit around the campfire at night or even have a blanket to spread out at the park for a picnic, this blanket is for you. It’s warm enough for winter, but we use it as a picnic blanket during the warmer months.

This is the best salt to sprinkle on your finished meal. This would make a great little gift for the foodie friend or family member.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask ($24)
I used to struggle so much with dry lips all year long until I started using this lip mask nightly. It SAVES my lips. I love this vanilla version the best.

Go-To Transformazing Sheet Masks ($40)
I use these sheet masks right before an event or date night, and they give my skin a beautiful glow. This package includes six masks.

Secret Aardvark Hot Sauce ($16)
We first tried this hot sauce when we lived in Portland, and it was only local to the city. It has since become very popular and is available online now. It is the best hot sauce in our opinion.

The Alice Network by Kate Quinn ($11)
This is one of my favorite books I’ve read this year. If you know someone who loves historical fiction, this would make a nice gift.

Makeup Removing Cotton Pads ($10)
I started using these cotton pads to remove my makeup this year as way to reduce waste. They would make a great little stocking stuffer!

HU Chocolate Bar ($6)
I’m not sure how they got the flavor and texture of these chocolate bars so perfect even though they have no dairy and no refined sugars. It’s magic! These are allergy friendly so you can gift them without worries.

Chemex Pour Over Coffee Maker ($45)
Danny uses our Chemex to make us a pour over every morning, and it is the best. This would make a great gift for the coffee enthusiast (along with a bag of your favorite local beans!)

Target Marble Coasters ($15)
We have an older version that are hexagonal rather than circular, but from the same Target brand. They look SO expensive, but are actually super affordable.

Sonos Speaker ($199)
We have three Sonos speakers placed in our living room and kitchen areas, and it so nice to be able to play music in those rooms. They are compact, but the sound quality is amazing.

Morphe 9T Neutral Eye Shadow Palette ($13)
This is the eye shadow palette I use daily. I like that it is all neutrals, but has some darker shades in case you want to glam it up for the night.

Klean Kanteen To-Go Coffee Cup ($28)
When I’m taking my coffee to go, I always use my Klean Kanteen coffee cup. It keeps my coffee hot for literally hours (although my coffee never lasts that long!)

This is the best list! I appreciate this concept so much more than the endless lists based on recipient. My girlfriends and I have a holiday tradition where we go out to dinner and gift one another something that we find really useful and around $30. So if I love a certain candle, I will buy 3 of that candle – one for each friend. We have exchanged hair towels, Thrive mascara, hand cream, underwear, candles, a dainty everyday bracelet, backup phone charger, a jewelry cleaner pen… random but really useful stuff.
Thank you! This sounds like such a good idea for a friend gift exchange!
Definitely love this list! It’s so helpful to have recommendations on things that someone really loves and uses often. Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
