Spring Essentials: How To Style A Striped Tee

Today, I’m sharing four simple ways to style a striped tee for spring. A striped tee is such a spring staple item that never goes out of style. Plus it can be styled some many different ways. I kept this style session fairly simple, using some of my favorite closet items for spring, like a my white denim, cut-off denim shorts and a black blazer.

The striped tee I’m styling today is a fitted ribbed black and white striped tee. I picked this one up recently from H&M for only $8. It runs small so I sized up one.

LOOK ONE

Stying a striped tee with white denim for a classic spring look. I love adding these woven mules to my outfits this season for extra pattern and texture. I’ve mentioned this before, but I needed to cut the hem of these jeans even though I ordered the petite version (I’m 5’3″).

In this look, I’m stying my striped tee with my favorite cut-off denim shorts. It looks like this exact pair is sold out, but other washes are available. Check back because they may get restocked! I love pairing my distressed denim with a nicer shoe to elevate this look a little bit.

This is a more dressed up spring look with a striped tee. I would wear this outfit for a date night or drinks with friends. These heels are actually quite comfortable because they have a block heel (I’m only purchasing block heels from here on out!). I like to add this red bag to my neutral outfits for a pop of color, and I think it adds a bit of edge to this outfit.

This is a comfortable, but chic look for everyday. This black blazer is relaxed and has a boyfriend fit which makes it seem more casual. I recently picked up these twill shorts in H&M, and I love them, but unfortunately I can’t find them online yet. I’ll keep checking and let you know when they are available! I linked the navy version above. Of course, you could pair it with any color shorts you like – white, black, or olive green would be my favorites.
