I guess we are saying goodbye to spring here in Kansas City. A heat wave last week left me feeling all the summer vibes, and I’m here for it. We even impulsed bought a slip and slide at Target last week! It was HOT which means lots of breezy shorts, dresses, and tank tops in the mix. When dressing for warm weather, my best tip is to add different textures for a more elevated outfit. You can do this with woven details like a straw tote bag or woven mules or through incorporating different fabrics or patterns like linen shorts or an eyelet top.
