I recently did a post featuring ten fall outfits with a white tee and jeans, and I received really good feedback and also a request for a similar post with black jeans. Black jeans are a little bit more difficult to style, in my opinion, as they aren’t quite as versatile as blue denim.
For these looks, I’ve used a good white tee (similar for less) and some washed black denim to create ten simple fall looks. I prefer a washed black denim to a true black denim because I think the black is a little less harsh and more versatile. I stuck with my favorite third pieces to add interest, dimension, and warmth. To create a more balanced look when wearing black denim, when I’m wearing a lighter top, I prefer a lighter shoe. If I’m wearing darker colors on top, I’ll go with a darker shoe.
