I’m not going to be covering much of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, but I wanted to share a few pieces that caught my eye. I know I’ve bought a few pieces from the sale over the years that have become staples in my wardrobe (like my first trench coat!) I tried to pick pieces that are more classic and capsule wardrobe friendly, but I also added in a few fun and trendy pieces as well. I shared all my picks in sections below with tops and outerwear first, then bottoms and dresses, and finally shoes and accessories.

TOPS AND OUTERWEAR
You can use this sale to pick up any basic tops you are hoping to add to your wardrobe. This cashmere sweater would be a nice three season piece and you know I’m always down to add more stripes to my closet. I also found a couple bodysuits (one, two) that make a sleek layering piece or worn on their own for date night. This poplin top and this square neck sweater from Madewell also caught my eye. Don’t sleep on these Perfect Vintage Jeans from Madewell. I just wish they had the petite option available. I always size down in this style. I also saw this pair of Levi’s was included in the sale which is a Stitch & Salt fan favorite. I may have to pick them up in this black wash! For some trendy pieces, I like this pair of wide leg trousers, this denim maxi skirt, and these wide leg jeans with a 70s vibe. I also saw this knit dress (I’m buying this if it’s still available in my size!) and this long sleeved cashmere dress which looks really nice. Shop all my picks below.

I found a few pairs of classic shoes that might interest you including these boots (love the elongated toe box!) and these chunky penny loafers which would be perfect for the office.
