I’m sharing my June Capsule Wardrobe in this post! I also created 20 outfits using the pieces shown here which you’ll find below. I think the exercise of creating a capsule wardrobe is so helpful in learning how to build a functional wardrobe and how to put outfits together. It also helps me to be more selective about my purchases as I’m always considering how it will fit in with the rest of my wardrobe. Check out this post for my May Capsule Wardrobe.
June Capsule Wardrobe: The Pieces
I chose 21 pieces for this capsule wardrobe with 5 tops, 3 outerwear pieces, 1 dress, 1 romper, 1 skirt, 4 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of denim, and 5 pairs of shoes. I went pretty neutral for this capsule wardrobe with the exception of the button front midi skirt. If you choose color for your capsule wardrobe, I recommend sticking to a coordinated color palette which will make it easier to mix and match pieces. Also, when the weather starts warming up, I like to stick to light weight fabrics like cotton and linen. And as always, you’ll find a mix of affordable and investment pieces here.
